I think most reviewers don't realize that the cup holders do expand out a bit. You just pull the silver, ring part. They're still too small for most American large sizes, but it's good for a can or small/medium cup
Ze Germans do not understand the American obsession with cupholders. Ven you drive ze car, you drive ze car. You drink at home. Porsche's cupholders are a "do we have to?" compliance thing. Porsche has never built a bad 911. This one isn't as flashy as the older or newer ones but I'm sure it still drives great.
Can't wait for you to do a E92 M3 video keep up the good work like you review on all cars most channels don't is a blessing seeing cars you review from back in the days.
Hey Zack, did it feel weird having an engine propel you from behind you? I found it a very weird sensation at first when test driving a 911 but cool at the same time as it felt so much different than most other cars. Curious to hear your thoughts as you mentioned this was your first time piloting a 911.
@@lunabunny621 all boxers are flat but not all flats have been boxers. Ferrari had a "flat"-12 that was essentially a 180° V-12. It was flat but it wasn't a boxer
Hey Zach here's a idea for your 80s quirks series the car brosure I whent in to my local toyota dealership and they say they don't carry them anymore interesting thought.
Ims really isn’t an issue on 997.1’s its a 996 problem but even that gets blown way out of proportion with only about 20% of 996’s reaching failure and less than 5% of 997.1s
Frunk notwithstanding, this looks like a pretty nice example, priced pretty well for the current market, which is to say, kinda high for two years ago. Someone cared for this car quite a bit. Jealous of this car's next owner, TBH.

IT doesnt hold my big gulp from 7 11
I’m a car guy and generally don’t watch car reviews, but I’m really enjoying yours. Keep it up!
I love seeing your reviews, you do a good job :)
The 997.2 will forever be my favorite.
That cold air intake is horrible on this cars it take away from the power and throttle
Yeah you can till that this 997 has had a rough life
I want a 'Big Friggin Bottle' sticker. A lot of people wouldn't know what it means, but I would & that's enough for me!
They will be restocked on my website soon!

True, I never drink in the car
Also Americans drink about 2 litres at a time whereas the standard cups/cans/bottles in Europe are 330-500ml

Unreal video, wish I had the car man
What kind of an air intake is on this engine?
Awesome!
isn't that a Boxer 6
Yup
@@nem1 then why does everyone call it flat? Flats and Boxers are not the same
@@lunabunny621 Porsche uses a flat six that has a boxer configuration.

Always want to avoid the 997.1 (2005-2008) with the Intermediate Main Seal issue and the Scoring issues. Go with a 997.2 (2019-2012) only.

I thought you drove the car a little slow.
Isso é a Sally de Carros
You sound like Jack Black. 🤣🤣
Drive a Jaguar F-Type if you want to hear what a real exhaust sounds like.
