Ultimate spiderman was awesome man. I loved the comic book panels for the story bits. And playing as venom was awesome. His movement was fun. Severly under appreciated. But atleast we appreciate it
The Annoying voice acting killed it for me. Not to mention That one cutscene where Nick fury (or whoever it was) "says sorry kid, 18 or older for this battle" I paraphrased but I've played all the Spider-Man's and it felt like I was playing as a dude in his '20s/30s. Tobey Maguire Spider-Man still being in college but still, the N64 / PS1 Spider-Man was a full-grown adult at that point and that was the kind of Spider-Man I became attached to. And yeah venom being dark and brooding annoyed me because I preferred when he was the fun stupid symbiote from the N64. As for the cell shading graphics I wasn't a fan, it felt distracting in a fast-paced action fly around the city game.
This game is pretty damn great. I prefer the feel of swinging in this game over Spider-Man 2, it's just more fluid and fun. And Hulk Ultimate Destruction is another masterpiece from this age of gaming. These were games that just stuck to letting do a few things, but making those things super fun. Games now try to do too much, and most just end up being mediocre because of it.
the spider-men on ps5 in on PC soo no need to buy a ps5... about that spider-man, I liked the graphics, didnt like the story and gameplay. The 1st spider-man game on PC was better, with creative bosses, just the web slinging sucked...
I absolutely loved Ultimate Spiderman! It had a feel no other Spidey game could replicate.
