He was using a mondo and pretty much a "mutt" call. I was using a buck gardner call and a duck commander shadow
What’re y’all standing in the water or where y’all in a blind
We were standing in the corn due to the way the birds were flying. We were picking up decoys to move to another field when we had some big ducks come over. 95% of the ducks were woodies. Saw alot of birds. Just weren't coming to the field we were in.

Not necessarily..hunting around the diversion canal I've shot pintails,clowns, all sorts of divers. Grey ducks. Widgeon,greenheads etc. Just depends on where you hunt. Dont get me wrong we do shoot some woodies but take for example. Opening day last year 2 cans,2 bluebills 1 merg and a buffelhead
You have to change your spread..run what people don't. I run 2 dozen coots, and 6 mix, if im hunting the lowfalls area/upper lake those 6 consist of 3 woodies 2 mallards 1 diver. Canal i run a little larger. 2 dozen coots then 12 mix. 6 divers 6 puddle
And tbh. 2 liter bottles painted either all black or black and white work really good on days without wind
And this is what's wrong with duck hunting...
