Given personal experience with mice in cars (and to me a rat would be worse) I would have to replace the mattress and turf. They pee and poop in EVERYthing and it soaks in. 😳

your mixture of detergent to water is terrible.. wayyyyy too much detergent to get done what you want to get done, when you sprayed the bottle it basically sprayed gloopy detergent lol. We gotta teach you how to detail my man, you basically man powered it clean with a dry rag, which I’m not nocking your hustle just way better and more efficient ways of detailing a car. You should have went somewhere that has the carpet cleaning station where you shampoo and vacuum carpets, that’s what was most needed and those machines typically work really well and you can do it on your seats and the carpet and it would make the truck look brand new. For the plastics you should just use some armorall all purpose wipes/spray, their formula would be way less thick than yours and allow for a deeper clean, to me your hard plastics aren’t clean right now they just have thick detergent on the surface.
i think you're missing the point, as much as I'd like to have everything effectively clean, thats not what he was going 4, he just wanted to clean his rig, not doing it professionally; he also mentioned how he didnt want a bunch of cleaning bottles in his rig, which is understandable. If you want a video of proper car detailing, go to channel that does that.

If you don’t know what a Double double Animal style is 😊 : Two all-beef, mustard-grilled patties, two slices of American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and a sauce they call “spread” instead of just admitting it’s Thousand Island dressing, on a toasted bun.

There's an In-N-Out and a Chik-Fil-A literally right next to each other in Santee, California where I grew up.
Chik-Fil-A wasn't a thing when I was younger, and the nearest In-N-Out was like a 15 minute drive away in another town, but when I went back a few years back they were just there when I went to the new In-N-Out to relive my childhood.
That’s were Mav was at. The car wash was in El Cajon, and Yes your suppose to buy a wash and self vacuum! Those Vacuums are not just there Free for the public. Lol! Then he ended up on Mission Gorge in Santee for the Chick/In&Out double whammy! Looks like his camp spot was in one of the Santee Town Square parking lots. Curious who he took the truck to fix the wiring repairs? My guess is he’s heading East on I8?

When I first moved to Southern California from the Mid-West, the first interesting difference I noticed was how the shopping area of each city put all the auto dealerships in one place. All car repair shops in one area and many places you would find all of the fast-food joints in the same shopping area. It is not odd at all to find N&Out, Chick Fil A, Jollibee, McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, and others next to each other. Must be a zoning thing. It really helps because there are so many cars here that it takes forever just to drive a few miles.

You need to get a Bisell Spotclean Professional. It's a vacuum with a built in carpet extractor. It deep cleans your carpet.

MAV! What the hell? As the mother in me, I am shocked. :-) I am so worried about the rat poop spreading disease to you. Also, didn't that Tide solution lease an sticky residue on everything? **** here are two ideas that I hope you read. 1. You might think about having a designated flat sheet/table cloth/ tarp specifically to spread out whilst you're eating/preparing food. Then you can just take it outside and shake it out and fold it up small for the next time. 2. Did you know that "baby powder" is a natural ant repellent? True story. Just sprinkle it around the edges of your truck and they won't cross over it. Also, your truck will smell good. BTW, you don't have to use baby powder if aren't fond of the smell. Any kind of talcum powder will work. Nice job on cleaning the truck.

If you really insist on using laundry soap, a tablespoon of soap in a quart of water would have been plenty, even for the mess you had.
The car detailer in me was screaming the entire time I watched that "detailing." I would definitely front the couple hundred it would take to pay to have a pro do it.

hahaha I have driven Semi's OTR for 3 decades now; think that little truck get dirty try deep cleaning a rig that had been running for 2 months straight, that can turn nasty if not kept in check .

Ohh it hurt my soul seeing tide used on leather seats lol. I only use Chemical Guy products on all my interiors. Make sure you condition them well. Also, keep us posted how the tide worked long term on your seats. I'm curious if all the detergent will dry the seats out over time.

@@michaelschneider530 do you actually need the chemicals for the interior? I’ve only ever used glass cleaner and leather cleaner. Anything else gets clean with a damp cloth. I’ve used it on seats at times also, if you aren’t keeping the car for long, it’s an almost pointless excercise as the car is new so you worn be getting cracks or anything either and the seats won’t have much time even with 10k miles a year to get greasy or anything
