The “eleven time” teebirds are one of the best runs of teebirds I’d say, I have 4 of them and have been throwing them for years, never fails to do what I need them to do.
If that MF teebird is on the stiffer side, this things are more OS then your average eagle, and just under a firebird I’d say. Your average teebird 3 is a just a slightly faster variant of the teebird. That if you can find one that’s actually flat and not in the domes side.
Quality content bro, keep ‘‘em coming, one of my favorite disc golf channels!

Most of my bag is Innova. No putters or approach discs. Distance drivers are all Innova. I throw Innova because those factory seconds are so available! Not to mention that free discs Friday. Hard to beat the value. Watching your channel has opened my mind to these smaller companies, I only have the big names in the game.

I'm still a beginner, and recently bought an absolutely gorgeous metal-flake Teebird, and I'm really liking it. It's appropriate for my armspeed, and gives me something to throw against the wind or to go around obstacles, when my metalflake FDnew doesn't fade enough. Very good disc.

Eagle was my first disc like 20+ years ago. I just came back to the sport after 10 years, and i bought a new eagle for nostalgia. Didn't like it a ton at first. It has no glide, but after a few rounds it beat in really nicely and now its my go-to for straight 260- 300 foot shots. Picked up some glide after a few tree strikes.

I throw a lot of different discs to try things out. I've been switching over to a lot of Clash because I love their plastic. That being said, I cannot imagine anything taking my Star Roadrunners out of the bag. They are so integral to my strategy backhand and forehand in the woods. I love that a Star Roadrunner tends to come out of the box as a -2 and works its way slowly into a utility disc. It allows for a lot of permutations of the technical hyzerflip. Also, though a lot of companies are copying them, the Wraith is very dependable for me. I always rely heavily on a neutral Ken Climo Star Wraith around 168-170 in various states of wear.

I hadn't noticed how much Innova I had cleared out of my bag, but it's significant. I am down to 5 Innova discs out of 23. JK Aviar, Wombat3, Firebird, Sidewinder, and a Blizzard Wraith. When I look back, there are two main reasons Innova has fallen out of favor in my bag. The first reason is performance, and the second reason is the flashing.

I’m an arborist and can explain the dark spots on the trees 🤓. Where water pools there is likely residual moisture which can cause rot and slime flux. Depending on the tree it can be better or worse. The water can attract insects, which might be what you’re seeing.
Also, I own 2 eleven time teebird’s, it’s my favorite fairway! The controlled flip on a beat in teebird is next level disc design.

I have a color glow TL3, a beat in (hyzer to drifty) champ teebird3, and an AB color glow teebird3. All of these discs are amazing and different. The TL3 is meant to be like a beat in teebird3 out of the box, but it's lack of nose bead and flatter wing make it pretty different than the actual beat in teebird3, it is how ever a great complement to the group. The AB teebird3s are way more stable than that metal flake champ one you have there but you can throw it full power and it might barley flip up but will never flip over, and goes strait for 80% then fades. They are money.

I bag around 12 innova discs. I’ve Been playing for about a year and a half and started with a mixed bag of discs. Eventually started experimenting to find out what i liked the most and realised i liked more flexible/gummy discs more than stiff ones.
I ended up getting a few gstar innova discs and really liked how they flew and how they felt. My goal is to rind more gstar discs and slowly go up to champion plastic as i get my form better and get more power.
I believe gstar discs are very similar to start, but depending on the mould, they can be a tad more flippy than star plastic.
That being said, i bag a teebird 3 in gstar plastic and it flies pretty similarly to the teebird you have there.
I’m 5’1 so i don’t have a ton of power so i feel like having the Gstar plastic helps me get a similar flight than what more powerful people would get with more stable plastics.
One video i wish I can see is comparing innova gstar discs to the other plastics innova makes so there there are clear comparisons between the different plstics.
Kind of similar to the opto air video you recently made. Might get people to stop bashing on more gummy/ flexible plastics.😂

Started with the Innova 3disc starter over a year ago, got disenchanted with how quickly DX becomes useless, and I only buy premium plastics now. I really loved the Shark. Since then, I've tried other discs and brands (thanks DX for pushing me away from innova). After the dust settled, I have a mixed bag. Warden, Luna, Stabilizer, Pteranodon (fantastic disc), Ghost (Roc mold), Warrior, z+bz Buzzzes( _not_ in the bag), Wombat3, Mana, Pathfinder (great disc, a step up from the old Shark), Kaxe-Z, Leopard(gstar), S.-E.Ascend, Hawkeye(gstar), JLS(former innova mold), new-FD, Teebird, Heat, Sidewinder, I wanted to like Discraft, because I like the embossing inside the rim which helps get a better grip even if it's humid, but their numbers seem completely random sometimes (which is why I bought a Stabilizer after the Luna disappointment), but Streamline's Ascend S.E. also turned out to be different from numbers, over-stable, so some inconsistencies at MVP too. I also don't like that Trilogy mislabels some discs' flight numbers to make a disc look better than it actually is (example, River, 8 speed 5 glide with ordinary distance for the 8s category, sounds much better when it's re-nomenclatured as a 7 speed 7 glide. another example is the underworld, a 9speed marketed as a 7speed). I've been staying away from Prodigy; dislike the nomenclature and they seem to go less far in every category. I'm not against some of these newer smaller companies, but some aren't very available in Canada. I did get that Legend and Gateway, but I'm really loving the mids from TSA, and the JLS sometimes goes farther than my 9speeds.
So far, I have 3 aces with a Wombat3, 1 ace with the Pteranodon, and 1 ace with the brand new Pathfinder.
I have a spreadsheet with hundreds of discs, and research extensively before buying a disc.
You might like to feature DareDevil discs sometime - they're out of Canada. They are 1 number more stable when new, and beat in to the advertised numbers. The Pteranodon, a 4 6 -2 1, was the perfect Shark substitute when new, and now just gives you a nice S-curve, so easy to throw, so predictable, such easy glide. I used to putt with it too (until I got the Warden, which I was told, is a beadless and upgraded Judge - do you agree with that?).

Been playing badly since the 90's. I was all innova in my small bag. After a break for 5 yrs around 2022, I came back to find a plethora of options in discs. Ive gone thru so many, but do find myself going back to a few choice discs. I came back to the aviar DX classic but added a 3s wizard. I came back to the DX roc and dropped the Mako3, but added a fuse. I throw a crave and KaxeZ, but the champ Tee-bird came back to my bag. My bag is mixed among brands, with a beloved Binx and quite a few mvps in my driver spots. Even so, I do think that Innova makes some good discs at a good price point. I hate the feel of the t-bird, but I can't deny it's reliable flight. Im a noodle, so t-bird is one of my driver spots. The DX roc also feels like ass, but man does it sing like it always has. The aviar classic DX in max weight is basically a mic drop moment in DG history...

I started about 12 years ago, i was ALL innova at the start, but the buzzzes have crept in, a zone, a couple FDs, a couple mvp (entropy, envy), and an ever increasing amount of infinite, but those are mostly just old innova molds, exodus (eagle l), dynasty (old CD), emperor (old destroyer) , the aztec however is a great seemingly custom infinite mold that flys like an FD as a driver, they bomb at a 10 speed. Still rock the eagles, teebird3s, sidewinder, firebird, and wraith, and love the new charger (find the color glow ones) and my beloved aviar yeti pros ( god i hope these never go away ).

I've got several innova discs I've used for a long time, but I've been looking at MVP/Axiom a bit more lately, especially for the lower speed discs (I putt with Ions, Proxy and Envy are both excellent approach discs, and I like the Crave as well). I also regularly throw kastaplast (kaxe) and westside (harp, seer). The westside seer is an amazing flippy fairway driver, if you need an understable 7 speed I recommend it.
For innova, I've had a champ firebird and champ thunderbird for a few years, they're extremely dependable. Sidewinder and Roadrunner are also a staple for more the higher speed, understable fairway drivers. Halo Savant is also a good get for the higher speed straight/fading shots, and the TL3 is a nice straight/turning fairway driver.
I've actually got a halo teebird and a champ teebird3. Last time I threw the teebird3 it didn't fade at all, but went dead straight. I tend to lean on the teebird or eagle for the stable low speed fairway stuff. The halo teebird I've got is pretty beefy, but it's great in a pinch.
For distance, I've had a lot of luck with the mamba, but I don't throw many distance drivers currently.
I have 2 mids from innova, the Roc3 and the Wombat3. The wombat is a really fun disc for turnovers and straight-to-flipping hyzer shots. It's super easy to throw. Roc3 I use less, but with practice I've learned to use it for forceover shots and flex lines that don't require distance drivers.
I don't really have much loyalty to innova, I just buy discs when they catch my eye and I think they'll fit in the bag. The fairway drivers from innova are their best work imo, although the roc3 and wombat are also solid - but I think those could be easily swapped out.

I bag 2 Teebirds, 2 Eagles, a King Cobra and a Teebird3 for headwind shots. Most are champion plastic. one Teebird is star. Also have a Leopard and a Firebird. Probably half my bag is Innova

I think what bores people the most about Innova is the fact that you only need to buy an Aviar, Roc, Teebird, Thunderbird, Firebird, and Destroyer to complete your bag for the rest of your life.
A better question than "is anyone throwing Innova anymore?" would be "how many people that have been playing 5+ years aren't throwing Innova?"

I have 23 discs in my bag, and 11 of them are innova. If you include the 3 infinite discs I bag, then it goes up to 14 of 23. I first played disc golf in 2009, and back then it was pretty much Innova dominant at every course I went to. Innova kind of has that old man/beginner stigma nowadays.

Teebird3 is main workhorse in the fairway section, got it in halo, metalflake, gstar, glow plastic.
It seems to suit my hand better than the eagle and has more control than a teebird, even though I still like the normal teebird too :)
"Do people throw innova". I still do, since I like the Gstar molds and halo alot, so most of my bag is innova, couple of gems from mvp and latitude.
Would really love to give infinitediscs molds a shot, but their not very available in europe.

I'm kinda old-school like yourself. When I started it was basically just Innova and Discraft. So a lot of my discs are Innova but my bag is slowly changing with all the new good stuff coming out. I would guess maybe 70 percent Innova.

OG teebird is the best disc ever made.
If I had only 1 disc to play with for the rest of my life id have 171 star teebirds.
They break in great and have all the stability you need out of the box.
Maybe max weight champion for the wind.

Good discussion on Innova and its relevance. The marketing is at a super crazy level among the newer manufacturers. I have felt that Innova tries too hard by coming out with more and more molds. Who has more molds than Innova? In some players just cannot take Innova serious anymore, especially when you tie the players to the company. Innova keeps bleeding good players to the other guys, and this does impact our bags. But who else makes a TEEBIRD. I have tried Athena and FD, but I just have not found anything like it.

    My bag is 46% Innova.
Out of 15 discs, 7 are Innova (although 3 of those I rarely use - DX leopard from starter pack, DX colt that I used with starter pack, and KC Pro Aviar I bought only because Ricky used it to ace every hole on my home course and I plan to do the same someday lol).
Plus I don’t currently use my Teebird or Firebird (I only have them waiting for when I get a little better).
So that’s 5 Innova discs that I bag but don’t even play with.
BUT…my Champion Mamba is my farthest disc right now, and my Champion Mako3 gave me my best round ever when I used it alone for a round.
Besides that the Latitude 64 Diamond and River are 2 of my favorites that I throw the best, and my Dynamic Discs EMAC Judge is my putter (and I play a lot of putter-only rounds).
For context, I used an Innova starter pack from Dick’s Sporting Goods to play a few times a year for the last few years, but only a few months ago really fell in love with the game and began learning correct form and playing a few times a week and ordering new discs. The reason I chose the discs I did was purely off of recommendations for good beginner discs.
I also bag a Ricky Westside Harp and a couple Doomsday drivers because the stamps look cool and they’re only slightly overstable.

I've thrown a decent bit of Teebird3 and Teebird. I mostly throw Teebird3 because in general they are less OS and seem to be more flat. ColorGlow TB3 seem to be "flippy" out of the box and I would give it 8/5/0/1 in stats.

I used to be innova only, back when it was only innova and discraft (too slick). Now I'm about 40% innova. Aviar, TL3, Sidewinder, Archon, Wraith, and my pre flight number Orc and Starfire that haven't left my bag since the early 2000s (RIP pf Beast that I recently lost). My short range is inundated with MVP, and I have a smattering of trilogy to rep the home town. Oh, and a K1 soft berg.

"Do people even throw Innova any more" My bag is 90% innova but I think they are still working on updating their slower discs to fit what golfers want. The Jay, Caiman, Toro have been good additions but I dont see anyone throwing them. Pro players are starting to use them though. And all my putters are Alpacas when it should be firefly if they just made them more available.
As for Teebird vs Teebird3 I've bagged both I like Teebird3 for anhyzer or Hyzer and old teebird for a more flat release since it tends to stay straight a little better and goes farther.

I own around 250 discs probably 190 molds from the main 6 manufacturers and i own more innova than anything and about 25% of my bag is innova, that being said discraft and trilogy have great discs and i think too many people are sleeping on prodigy and for good reason ive got 3 types of 750 plastic and 2 types of 400 plastic and it just confused me but some of their newer discs (Isaac Robinson 500 FX-4) flawless best quality ive seen and they have runs of plastic that just feel amazing. Lucid Maverick, Star TL, Champion Teebird 3 FTW.

I started playing disc golf with innova. dabbled in discraft and trilogy (mostly westside) but now that I am more experienced I prefer innova's halo star to anything else. My main drivers are Mystere and Big Jerm Thunderbird and I putt with Aviars, all Halo Star. I have no reason to switch to anything else. If I was ever to switch brands fully it would be to any of the MVP brands.

The Old 11x teebirds are OK. Easily replaced though. However the pfn STAR teebirds are arguably one of the best disc's ever. They fly exactly like an FD but they just have slightly more finishing movement right now my fair right now are a bear FD, pfn stay teebird, very beefy volt or very beefy Athena, can't decide what want between those 2 and then an anax and a firebird!! I'll add a very stable thunderbird from time to time to pair with the anax as well.
