  • The moment you all have been waiting for! Our final on-water day for the year with the 1999 Tige 21V Project Boat.
To say we are impressed with the performance of this little boat would be an understatement, from the ballast system to the audio, and of course the beautiful interior from Gabe's Custom Upholstery everything worked perfectly! While we are a bit bummed to have spent such little time on the Tige this Summer, we are excited for 2023 because we will be bringing you more content than ever behind this boat so stay tuned for that!

Thank you! So hyped how it turned out! Definitely looks like a completely different boat with the new interior and tower.

To have 100% transparency tell us how much you spent in retail dollars for all the parts & how many man hours were involved with this project?

Definitely! Let me see if we can add up the total cost of it all and I'll post it here. Man hours wise was a lot, like we mentioned in a previous video, our local gelcoat guy took a solid 5-6 months which we had been quoted half of that time. With that being said, a lot of our work inevitably took place during the busy Summer months so build time was split between working, and having to jump on the phone to help customers out so that may be hard to estimate.

@@WakeMAKERSany update on overall cost on investment?! Would love to know what the price would be, not including labour from you and the team!

Thanks Adam! We're so stoked on how it turned out. Took a little longer than expected but summer 2023 should be a good one with this boat!

Love your two project boats, if you had to choose which of the two would you choose for own boat, I am looking in the 25k price range and these are both on my list. Which boat would you say handles choppy water better, and which one has a better wakeboard wake and which one has a better surf wave? Thanks!!

Did you guys put some type of surf system on it or did you use a suck gate? Looked pretty sweet. Love seeing project boats

No surf system on this build! We talked about installing GSA but came to the conclusion it would be a bit of a squeeze on the transom the way the Tige is. Not to mention for times sake we decided to just use a Mission Delta which performed perfectly with the new ballast system.

Have same boat what is weight ballast you used. How many pounds?

Beautiful job however I suspect if you’re paying retail, it’s not worth it.

Try buying a new boat and you’ll know dollarwise it’s worth it

Thank you! But yeah it really depends, compared to a new boat it's definitely cheaper going the project boat route, but there's some great deals to be found on boats that are a bit newer that have some of these features that we added. We tried to go all out and show EVERYTHING that can be done, knowing that most people will only tackle a project or two when upgrading their boat.
