to make this build even better you can get the purple crystal that give armor per debuffs, you can start a match with 100-200 armor per cristal
put it on a leather coif and u can almost never die.
I find it really funny how the shopkeeper has a special reaction specifically for selling your character exclusive bag
It's not special, he can say that for selling anything (just put the item name in place of it)

This build has carried me from nothing all the way to diamond in a few hours. However! I had to adapt it once I got to the higher ranks. You can't hope for this build.
What works every time is pandemonium. You start off with samwise gamgee build (aka: pan + food) and transition to pandemonium for poison.
Buy Pestulent flasks and demonic flasks as they appear and add the oneshot scythe combination (the way skoottie set it up with one scythe somwhere next to the pan build).
It transitions nicely from early game to lategame, and sometimes, enemies do not regen, which makes the flasks not go off, but in that case, pandemonium can still close out the game instead.
One scythe is enough to oneshot most people anyways.
Skoottie I think you might have it backwards. I think the placement of struggles is so that the scythe doubles the poison that struggles inflicts, not because the scythe is inflicting poison itself
One other small thing is that the build only goes off once your opponent regens health, and since most of the time your only real counter is another poison bomb you shouldn’t have any form of healing and should just go cap of resilience and corrupt shard.
I think the potion placement could use some optimization. You should try to have an many potions as possible feeding into your pestilence ones (it's possible to have two potions both trigger the same one above them). Also like other people said corrupted crystals make this build even more insane.
I’m honestly mad we gotta wait for the full version this games so fun , I wish they add other game modes and friends lists / 1v1s
1v1s would be super interesting and open up for lots of strategy

so struggles gives a 0.3 chance to reflect poison which get's doubled twice cause of the scythe
and every potion inflicts one poison
so struggles adds an extra 1.2 poison per poison trigger?
but every potion inflicts 6 with scythe anyway so it's not that big of an increase
but i guess it's enough to push it to the point where it just one shots anyone
but i am kinda wondering if this would work without struggles or if there's some part of the interaction i'm missing
I found this myself today. I just went lots of armor with a poison scythe core. I was unkillable didn't do that much damage but the poison stack and fatigue was always a win

Bro, That was the most satisfying moment of my life, this build is amazing, the only thing I have trouble understanding is how tf am I going to earn that much gold or even win the early agains a crit ranged with sword shield, like the early is the most important, but the most difficult because it's 50-50 either you start well or bad idk
Please keep up the backpack battles content it suits your style and is what i believe a majority of people would like to see you play more of rather than sap(of course sap is alwags appreciated)
Hey Skootie did you know that Plate Up had a Halloween update that added like 20 new op appliances?
Try to get both scythes to hit Mr Struggles next time. Placing one perpendicular to the other lets you do this
Maybe get the yellow potion plus the bananas from your starting build to get you some more stamina to take the third scythe lol

Can you bottom right your cam so it doesnt block the item at the top of the shop? It also blocks part of the opponent bag. Thank you!
i dont get the struggles placement. does this actually trigger twice or is the 2nd star Slot wasted?
I played against this build and I was running a mana build, with bunch of books, it saved me with the invulnerable

may i ask whats the point of the gray potion i thought it wont activate unless u have atleast 20 armor
I think it's triggering from the other potion, which gives you the block to make it trigger for real.

(With the mentioned addition of Corrupted Crystal in armor item)

Watched Hafu play some BPB and she’s under the impression that an item won’t show up in the shop the turn after you buy it. I haven’t been able to confirm anywhere, does anyone know where this rumor comes from? It leads to tricks like buying and selling sale items (costs 0 gold) which you don’t want, so they don’t dilute the pool of items next time in the shop.
Ive seen some top grandma players doing this as well, may be true, not sure where the proof is
@@SkoottieI think I saw in Hafu's comments that the videos she's currently posting are from an old patch, like before the crossblades even came out. I think they removed the RNG manipulation, but idk for sure
@@DoctorQcumber The "Removed RNG manipulation" actually confirms it - more or less..
When you reserved an item and refreshed the shop you could get another of the already reserved items.
This made it way easier to collect - for example - early whetstones.
Now a reserved item should not show up upon refreshing the shop since it counts the same as "just bought".
That should be easy to confirm - start new game - reserve an item or two and just reroll till your out of gold...

Your camera position is blocking the shop.
Camera placement is bad, u cover one item
He should move it to the bottom right, would only cover the sell chest and recipe button that way
Pulling my hair out!!! Doing a poison build and throws the coffin away. WTF! there was even room left to put it no need t toss. Hell replase the plain brown bag and put syth bottom in it then every time it swings has chance to add POISON! smh 😢
