After suffering my spinal cord injury i have really had to adapt in life. So Im showing you my disability lifestyle to raise disability awareness. As a disabled woman and a woman in a wheelchair who is paralysed, I thought it would be interesting for you to see, and hopefully give you some inspiration and motivation so that you can live more independently. wether you are paraplegic or quadriplegic I hope that I can help you. I have lots of interesting disability videos, a lot of videos on how to cope with a disability and living life in a wheelchair, wether you are a girl boy woman or man. i have some paraplegic exercise videos, and advice. its important to keep your fitness levels up as much as possible as this can when physically and mentally with depression.

yes. Perfectly, and with room to spare. I just tried my daughters one which has quite a bulky flip case on, and it fits really easily. (i think the measurements are on the site?)@@HighTen_Melanie

I use a $20 over the shoulder bag from amazon that carries my caths and all that jazz pretty well. the reason i chose the over the shoulder vs on my chair is because i walk sometimes and like to easily take my bag with me 😁
That's a reasonable price for a wheelchair bag. Usually things marketed towards wheelchairs are twice that price.

Thank you for raising awareness about security. I sued to have a rucksack on the pack of my chair but i was clueless about alternatives so now I've just put in an order for a pickepacke to put in my essentials and expensive item like my purse and phone etc. Thank you so much for making this post.

I was able to get a bag that was velcroed over my lap which is perfect if (like me) you usually have a blanket or cover over your knees. I love all your videos by the way.

Panthera in Sweden sells a similar bag but they have magnets in the back so the bag attaches to the wheelchair so it doesn't hang loose. Just a tips 😊

Just realised you don't live far from me too ♿️☺️ Also you can now get wheelchair spoke covers from Ebay in different colours which decorate your wheels quite cheaply! Imali x
Your German pronunciation is absolutely adorable! I wasn't aware of this brand, thanks for the review. The bag looks great. So far my 15€ stroller organizer has done the trick and looks and hangs quite similar to this one.
I’ve looked into these since they offer more room that the pouch I currently use which comes attached to my cushion cover. My current little pouch does make it easy with how often I fly, I can just take the seat off 👍🏼
Love this! My powerchair came with a bag that sits behind my feet that no one notices and it's super handy. Will definitely have a look at this for in the future though!

oh my god i neeeed this. i had the same issues with the bag i currently have so i don’t even use it. it’s too painful to bend over that far to reach the bag, and i’m always worried things are going to fall out or drag against the ground. this is great! thanks for sharing.
Just ordered one, the website seems very basic and order numbers about 1,000. Seems to be a fledgling company. We feel it's worth the risk. I will just see how this purchase goes and then order another for me. I'll update after arrival if I can. We need to support businesses that are aimed at us, who know what else they will come up with. Checked Amazon, a few there but zipped, no good if you can't reach and more expensive. X

Our second bag arrived yesterday for me. Whoop. Will fill it up today before I go to out. Husband loves it and he can access easily and cannot bend double like you. Excellent communication from the company aswell. X
We've just had these bags each on a cruise. Excellent handy thing, no need to have a bag with you for evening meals etc. Spacious could get sun lotion, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, perfume, lipstick, tissues, jewellery roll, passports and cabin cards in, with room to spare. The only slight drawback which is not a problem if you are wearing trousers is that in a ball gown it looks like you are ferriting around between your knees to lift the flap up to retrieve your tissues. I expect it would be possible to enter the bag from the side behind your knee but was not possible for me. It gave everyone a great laugh at my expense asking what I would produce next. It took me so much longer with me laughing everytime I retrieved something. Apparently I had the look of Sticky Vicky from Benidorm, don't ask!!!!!! I had to look it up, how rude. I took footage of disabled room on Britannia in case anyone needed it, not including my party trick. Have a great holiday, I took my bag off before customs.
If you see this I just wanted to let you know that my mother has a bag like that she has a cp injury or what you say but the bag has magnet instead and she loves it it is from panthera just a tip😊😊
I just ordered one of these bags myself for years. I’ve been using a bum bag even a chest bag but it makes me feel more vulnerable if I’m being targeted

Looks really useful! Good it has sections to separate things out. It could perhaps have some design touches to make it look a bit nicer, but I take the point that it is tucked away behind your knees and subtle might be good. Anyone got good solutions when you have a backpack full of stuff, incl valuables? I do use it on the back of my chair because on my lap makes propelling so much harder?!
Personally I’d be vary of this bag simply because it’s only closed with Velcro, and as we all know, Velcro wears out with time and get stuck in everything it’s not supposed to get stuck in and so on. I prefer a bag with a zipper for that reason. Thankfully my wheelchair cushion has a bag on it by default and that bag is really nice in size and from safety point of view. I have the StimuLITE Contoured XS cushion. The bag is sewn onto the cushion cover and it’s closed with a zipper that does have a little handle with a hoop on it so even people with poor hand function have a chance to open and close the bag simply by putting a finger into the hoop. The one downside with mine is that you have to empty the bag completely when you wash the cushion cover. But let’s face it, that cover doesn’t get washed nearly as often as it should be, I guess the best comparison would be diabetics and their lancets (many reuse one until its blunt) it just doesn’t get washed, or changed 🤷♀️

I would recommend black box wheelchair bags, they fit in a similar way, but I think it's slightly bigger as it has depth structured into it. I'm not sure if it would work for folding chairs.

That's wonderful for a person who wears pants. I wear skirts to my ankle all of the time and I can't imagine being able to use this modestly. I'm happy for you though.

that bag is cool the only probably i have is that theres no extra velcro so that if your someone like me who can't reach under their chair you could loop it around your seatbelt i know you can buy velcro but i can never find it
Nikki Matthys Amazon is a good place if you can’t get Velcro locally.
Have you tried to go anywhere with security while using it? I have a bag that came with my chair that clips under so I can take it off at bag checks. It’s just a pain when my hands don’t want to work. I like this but wouldn’t want to get up for security to remove it or have them searching between my legs. I have passes for Universal and Disney so we go quite often.
Question, how often do you clean your chair ? Mine is permanently dirty. Yes, i do things, plants, etc, outside. Also have a small shop that i do odds and ends. Every video i see, everyones chair is sparkling !

Its a JAY cushion, they are available online, however I got mine though the NHS
I managed to get one at disability convention its the jay union cushion its new
I wish I could meet a girl in a wheelchair.
No good to me, having straight legs and not being mobile enough to reach between my legs. I use a messenger type bag with the strap over my head. Anyone trying to steal it will get a broken face. 😁 I usually put my valuables in inside pockets of a zipped jacket.

@@Wheelsnoheels I only do it to people stupid enough to try to steal my stuff. 😜 An alternative might be to get one of those multi-pocket military vests. A pickpocket would give up before they started! 🤣
