Sincere thank you to you guys for all of these videos, from pytorch to keras, I’ve learned so much since I discovered you guys. Went from having a good grasp of mathematical concepts with no idea how to implement them to being able to implement a from scratch neural net for image classification. I know it’s simple stuff at the end of the day in the machine learning realm, but haven’t found a single location that summarizes everything so well. Incredible channel, cannot believe this shit is free.

Ma'am I have a small request, Would you mind putting together a DNN using only Raw Python Code, and NumPY? Not using already written frameworks. I am trying to learn the basics of DNN. Also can the DNN be geared toward solving a Regression problem rather than a clustering problem? Preferably something easy like prediction future sales of a store or something easy. Thank you.
No, because you lose the information of the non-max pixels. That said some networks like those used for segmentation, such as autoencoders, use some kind of unpooling (e.g. MaxUnpool2d or Interpolate in PyTorch) that increase the image size.

So basically, pooling simplifies the complexities in the original image while keeping the most relevant parts
