Facts I work nights and it's always awesome when one of Anthony's or the Melodika Bros (...)Wave songs come on. Some songs stick with you, like anytime I hear The Unforgiven by Metallica I can remember the first time I ever heard it or I think the first time, my Brother was driving me to school in his old Camaro and it was pitch black outside and I still can remember the smell of the rain mixed with whatever air freshener he always used. But I remember it came on and instead of asking him who it was like I normally would because I listened exclusively to Linkin Park at the time, I just stayed silent, listened to the song and the words and it was great, probably one of the things that helped me realize that just because I thought Linkin Park was the best doesn't mean other bands can't have great songs too.

This style fits the song so much
I've always thought a lot of Killswitch Engage songs that are clean are very "pop love song" themed. But that's exactly what makes KSE awesome, their songs are amazing and accessible.
Yes. It works so much better as synthwave than it does as metal.
Synth lends itself extremely well to metal, check out Spectral Drug on youtube, he has a lot of synthwave covers of metal songs, and they're lit.

Cant tell if yall got the joke cause i dont listen to those bands, so for all i know, megadeth wrote two seperate songs, one entitled angry, and the other again, which, honestly fits with what ive heard if them.
Synthwave itself it a great genre that’s been around a while but really it’s just getting noticed the last 5-6 years. The Midnight, Gunship, Lazerhawk. Timecop1983 are all great to get started.

Sounds like an 80s revenge - training montage. The character looking at the antagonist from a distance, reaffirming his reason to train and surpass him. Ending in slow-mo cuts of the character demonstrating all the feats they could now do. And then the classic look at ones self in the mirror.
Dude, do a whole album of just this type of shit, original or covers, or both, doesn't matter. This is fucking awesome.

I can see this song being in a retro futuristic cop show/game, where the lead protagonist is a grizzled old detective, who has lost everything, and is on the brink of psychosis.

I'm huge metalhead guy, but I love Synthwave so much as well and this song is my favourite of yours. Disturbed in the style of Tears For Fears was the other one.
