@@TheFreshRinse I remember reading that about him when they did that story In Pressure Wash GQ Magazine awhile back! I think it was called “pressure washers gone wild 😜 or something “ 🤣
Hey Joe my DS check valve just failed to and filled my tanks up. I opened it up and got all the muck out and went back together and tested sweet. Looks like they may need a little more maintenance than people thought. But still worth it for the good draw rate. Only took 5-10 mins to clean out 👍
@@577buttfan check out the Davis Injector. Instead of the ball and spring it has a check valve. Allows for a less restrictive flow which in turn increases draw rate
Since the post office is a US govt property, do you have a SAM code and is it required to bid on that job? Edited to interject that if the bldg is leased then I realize that bidding is unnecessary.
Hey Joe. Why would I have problems drawing chemical from the green general pump injector and not the blue one? I draw from the green only with the ball valve but when I put the gun on with the m5 twist it doesn’t draw. I have a 8gpm
I honestly don’t know what size the color denotes. When you add the gun you are creating pressure which is why the injector won’t pull. The color you are referring to is likely a 2.3. Which is week.
Great video as always Joe! Curious why you stopped adding surfactant. I am headed in the direction of eliminating surfactant too because even with 2-3 ounces in 15 gallons of SH I get a film on windows. I pre-wet then rinse the heck out of the windows (up - down, left-right, etc) and still get a pretty bad film. Anyhow, what are you noticing better or worse that you stopped adding soap?
@@Johnnyreengo all those guys that preach soap soap soap laugh my ass off I put a little squirt of dawn in there once in awhile just imagine the money you're saving on surfactant
Joe , I use a tiny bit of roof snot in my House wash mix. Did you convert to NO SOAP because of windows? I'm considering it as well even though I only rarely have a window issue.
@@powerfulimprovements Well Thank you, I'm going to switch over then. I have just always been reassured by seeing a little soap to know it's drawing and soap is on. May I ask how do you recognize the SH is coming or do you just rely on the remote?
That would depend on your type of water sources. If you’re in the country running on wells like I do I would recommend at least 200. But if you’re in the city with a good pressure you might get away with a 100
Boys are lucky to have you and thanks for sharing …If you wanna keep yourself busy definitely don’t Recommend they hang some bug lights at night time that come on a timer ⏱
Man, I've got to be the one to say it. SH is Not a cleaner. It is only used for killing organic growth and as a disinfect. That's it. The surfactant is what pulls the dirt and grime off. Do you take a shower with SH? Do you wash your hands with SH? Do you was your car with SH? No you don't because you'd be crazy if you did. You use a surfactant to take a shower with, wash your hands with and also your car with. A surfactant is Super important in the process of softwashing along with SH and water. I would never dream of cleaning a house, roof and or concrete without using a surfactant to help pull up and off the dirt ect. SH does Not do that alone.
I see what you’re saying Chris. But, mold and algae doesn’t grow on me or my car. 😂 seriously though surfactant does have its place but normal housing doesn’t need any as evidenced by the hundreds of homes I’ve washed without it
@@powerfulimprovements homes, concrete and shingles have dirt on them just like your body and cars do. You are leaving out a very important ingredient in the softwashing process. Been doing this for decades myself and would never clean without soap, but you do what you thinks best 👍
@@Vulcan5911 hey Chris. If you’ve been watching me for a minute you’ll see that I do use surfactant on the roof washing. But only to hold the sh. Not for any cleaning properties the soap may have. Also I do use a degreaser or acid where and when appropriate. In my short and limited experience I have discovered that surfactant offers little to no help. In fact it slows the proceeds due to excessive rinsing to simply remove soap. I do appreciate the input from veterans such as yourself
