I just ordered a GW9400 ER, the black and red standard version. I normally do not wear watches because I typically end up with a rash on my wrist, and now with arthritis, my wrist is 8.5" in diameter, so most watches look stupid and frequently the straps would not be long enough. Do you have any recommendations on what would suit my requirements taking into account I do not want a watch strap that is on the very last hole, and would like one which is comfortable and less likely to cause a rash? Also, do you export to Ireland?

Does this make the watch wear larger or smaller than the stock strap (for those with a smaller wrist who want to minimize overhang)?

Thats a ballistic strap? Does that mean it tears if there is too much force pulling on it, so that your watch is tearn off of you instead your arm f.e. ?
That is not what ballistic nylon means. I would not recommend you rely on any woven nylon strap to tear before your wrist is injured. Hopefully a springbar will pop in such a case and save you from serious injury but I expect your limb would lose a tug of war with a strip of nylon webbing.

Could you run a "4-ring" classic strap with these adapters as well?
I followed the link you provided in the comments. But the replacement lugs you have for the NATO wrist band. Uses spring bars. Could I just use the stock screws that come with my gw-9400
The 16mm springbars which come with the kit are complimentary spares. If a watch such as the 9400 does not use springbars, then you would not use the spare springbars in the kit. You would use the original screws of the 9400.

hey jimbo. it is simple. I hook on the sensor side first and then roll it on over until it snaps into place. if you watch some of my other videos where I install the bullbars, the process is the same

The holes on GD350 are a tad too deep for this current adapter. I trim the shoulder a small amount to resolve. PM me if you want to chat more about that.

A few forum trolls like to joke about it but long story short, no there isnt a issue with breaking under normal use.

Quick question! Would this do anything to compromise the waterproofing/water resistance of this watch? I'm getting the black version of this G-Shock and I have a few 24mm Natos, but I wouldn't want to mess with the WR. Thank you!

I would not expect it to compromise water resistance. The case is sealed at the case back and also at the orings/seals at the buttons. This doesn't interfere with those.
Is it possible to put a Combi watchband on a G-Shock GA100 with any adaptors

Are the multi color option adapters in your link below for the Rangeman in particular(JaysAndKays® GShock Strap Adapters for 16mm Lug Width G-Shock (adapters only)? I know some adapters out there make you slice parts of the resin off your self which I'd like to avoid if I can.

Do the strap screws screw into the lug(does the lug have thread or the strap) if the lugs are threaded is it plastic because if so I wouldn't want to damage thread as that would make the watch then useless correct? Thanks
Screws into the plastic lugs. Someone could strip those threads out if careless. If that happened, I presume a workaround could be found such as improvising with a larger screw or to use a screwbar to pass all the way through; I haven't had to resolve this problem so those are only initial thoughts.

The Casio p/n for the GX56 band screw and for the 9400 Rangeman screw are different p/n. I don't know in what measure they might be dissimilar because I haven't compared but they are differnt p/n.
Nonetheless, to answer your primary question, no, these adapters do not fit King because screw holes in that model are deeper in the lug than most G, too deep for these adapters.

If I put these adapters on the nato with 5 rings(from crown and buckle) will the nato fit with the adapters on the watch?
Hey K9, just a quick clarification. NATO (G10) dates back to a nylon design invented by British Ministry of Defense (MOD) and where the shorter conjoined section of strap has a single ring at its end for the long section of strap to pass through. If your strap has 5 rings, then is perhaps a ZULU style and not a NATO style. Design differences include that the ZULU are typically thicker and with beefier rings (ZULU nylon typically 1.5mm thick, whereas NATO nylon typically 1.2mm thick) and that 5-ring ZULU have on the short section of strap two rings instead of one ring, where the two rings are used to cinch the long strap instead of just pass through... this can be advantageous because the long section is cinched down to be locked in place but so that you can provide slack underneath the watch to have no strain on the spring bars.
I don't know how long your C&B strap is so cannot say but straps from quality makers are sometimes long enough. I have my own premium 5-ring ZULU style straps for sale that are long enough.

Gotcha... 'HD NATO' is essentially code for ZULU, but Maratac owns ZULU trademark. On that note, a US company called International Watchman trademarked 'NATO' and 'NATO G10' in USA a few years ago. This pissed a lot of people off given NATO's prior origin and general usage for decades not specific to any IW intellectual property. IW's attempt to trademark also in UK was rejected by UK (appropriately rejected, in many people's opinions). In fact, there is currently back and forth still going on with a multi-company lawsuit by IW against a group of companies (C&B being one of the group) because of their advertised use of 'NATO'.
But I digress and that is not what you are asking about... the critical dimension you would want to confirm is the short section of strap length from where it splits from the long end and to the buckles on it. If this length is 80mm, you should get good results.

Hi, I have a G-Shock AW591RL-4ADR and I would like to know if you have the adapter for it?
Hi Eduardo, the short answer is 'no'. The long answer is that there is a small handful of models such as G7700/7710, G300, AW591 that have the spring bar holes located a little bit deeper in their lugs than most G. These holes are too deep for the current adapter to reach. In order for the adapter to insert deep enough for the springbar to reach the holes, one would need to trim the shoulder of the adapter a small amount. I've done it many times and it's not a complicated modification to do. I plan to revise my Convertible Adapters for 5600 in the near future to have longer neck so it will accommodate these other models, but this would be a few months down the road at the soonest. I know this isn't the best answer for you but hope the info helps.

Dan Kozak 5302 is perhaps the module number, not the model. You have the GA1000 ? If so, it is not compatible with the model adapters in this video. However, I make jaysandkays metal adapters for GA1000... as seen in this pic....

Hi Nicholas. These standard adapters will fit if you trim the adapter shoulder a bit but the Convertibles for 5600 will fit without trimming required but their smaller form factor can be considered a little awkward looking on the big GX56.

Yes boys and girls, remember now, lefty loosy, righty tighty, except other 40 of screws in the world that are left hand threaded, parts of AK47's, motorcycle and car's engines and transmission gear shafts, European & British motorcycles etc. Don't worry, by the time most Americans work on left hand threaded bolt systems, they'll know its left hand. Another great way to tell if it's left hand is if wd40 and PB Blast dont break it loose, next you'll wanna use a torch and heat the part up, make sure you heat the correct part now, you want the removable part to expand, not the stationary, if you heat up both parts you're defeating the purpose and working against yourself. Then, if aaaaaall else fails, air hammer time! If THAT doesn't work it was probably left hand thread all along and now you've gone and tightened it so tight its never coming off! An hour after that, you're doubting if it's left OR RIGHT HAND THREADED! It COULD BE INTERNALLY WELDED, RIGHT? Sorry, i had a flashback to the days of working in a shop : ) *shoot me please! *
Correct, there are reverse threaded screws/nuts/bolts/shafts in a limited number of applications such as those designed reversed for a specific purpose, such as where direction of rotation of a moving part which could serve to loosen the assembly under operation, certain safety designs, etc, etc... anyhow, they exist, this is true. But consider these rare instances of left hand threads to the seemingly countless remaining cases in existence which are not. Perhaps you apply a hobby or a trade where you encounter left handed threads commonly. Some of these viewers have never used a screwdriver before, let alone will never encounter a reversed thread. To keep things in perspective, if you're replacing your transmission, you perhaps do not fall into the 'those who are not familiar with fasteners' which the instruction referred to, and if you are watching this video to gain insight into how to change your transmission in case there might be a bolt you cannot figure out how to remove... wrong video.
JaysAndKays+I understand. I was half serious but I do it for a living and come across left hand threads fairly often. But in America and the grand scheme of things I probably encounter right hand screws 98% of the time until you get in to engines, transmissions and European fasteners. You're correct though, my mother and girlfriend will probably never encounter a left hand threaded screw in their life.
Lol thats how I've broken some bolts before, I used to work maintenance for a state park and we had an attachment for a massy tractor that was a 3 sided mower, well 1 side was left hand threaded while the rest where not, so I went to sharpen and the blades and completely forgot it so I start taking them off and get the left hand one I just think its stuck on so I used b blaster and go at it, the thing just snaps right off had to special the order the screw, took weeks to arrive.
