Epic ride. Can you film a side by side? Whenever there is an alternate route it would be awesome to see that. For those of us who are not as epic as you.
@@TrailPOV Thank you so much, it's a little bit out of my budget for now but I'll definitely be looking for one! For now, I'm searching for a nukeproof scout race 275 or 290, I think it would be a good entry level bike, I'm currently riding a 2014 speacialized elite crosstrail and mostly drove it on the road and for commuting, about 60km a week, it's been great since! But anyways keep making good videos I'll definitely try some of the trails you talked about!
Depends on what trail you ride. You could get away with 120 to 140mm potentially if you were on the blue runs. The blacks I'd say closer to 150+ to make the landings on the drops a bit more comfortable and because a 150mm bike is generally built burlier. The biggest thing is having a head tube angle that is 67 degrees or slacker as the blacks get steep especially when tressles are involved and there are many square edge hits that would take you over the bars if head tube is too steep. Happy trails!
Love The Run From the Top
Great vid and ride. Enjoyed it.
Thanks 👍
Epic ride.

Sometimes I do the alt route depending on how long it is. Me...epic...nah :)
Trail is great at learning steepish tight corners, which I suck at
Just takes a bunch of time, and a bit of encouragement
Great riding. What elbow pads do you use?
Thanks. I actually use a full Fox Titan suit that includes the arms. But if I had to just get elbow guards I enjoy the Fox pads and Race Face Ambush.
Great trails. I believe kirkford also connects to Griffen, which would make an even longer run
Indeed it does, just have to cruise along the connector trail for a bit
Start at 7th and add on Leppard too.😁
Hey, I'm just getting into mountain biking in the Vancouver area and I was wondering what bike you were using. Nice videos!
Awesome to hear! I ride I Scott Genius LT. If you'd like some more details they are all on my site trailpov.ca

How much suspension would you recommend for riding the NS? Thanks!

They are not black diamonds anymore. Blue at best with a few black moves. Should of ridden it 20 years ago if you wanted a black diamond ride.
I did ride them 20 years ago and I agree with you!
