@@turbofantasy6731 I think that is part of the joke. But what happened when he was lying on the floor? The laughter was the type you hear when something unintentionally funny has happened. Did the ball hit the off-camera stage hand in the face or something?

Buster would have been 55 years old when this show aired. A highly trained acrobat/stuntman who was quite agile and knew how to make us laugh.. Buster's basketball shots were amazing.
Rocky is the great stuntman Harvey Parry...veteran of tons of movies right from the Silent era up until movies like Blazing Saddles, he was an old pal of Buster's

It's true that the car in the ad is identified as being from 1950, but it wouldn't be unusual to advertise the hot new Studebaker model as being from the coming year.
