- This video was never intended to be a stand alone film but I loved the relaxing nature of it so decided to put it out. If you are interested in my car camping setup please check this video from the same trip talking through my full rig.
I do wish I filmed some of the hiking and climbing we did on the trip but sit back , relax, grab a beer, and enjoy camping with us for a single night in Wyoming.

Particularly pleasing soundtrack, and minimal spoken dialogue makes for a great presentation. Relaxing overview of many aspects involved in dispersed camping. Kudos!

@@jakekaiser1399 The more visual was good for this one. IMO the music choice was ok but it was loud. I prefer to hear the natural sounds of what is happening in the scene. Maybe I'm in the minority on that.
@@jimbrown7261 Yeah that's great feedback and going back to this one think some more of the natural sounds would be been nice. I'm always learning how to make these videos better so thanks for watching and the feedback

Thank you. For this trip I had a tiny cooler just big enough for some beer and sandwich stuff as it was a single night and we left late after work and got some dinner on the way. For all other trips I do bring a bigger (35L or 45L) cooler
why did you choose the grey colour for the car?

Have younsolved the issue of that tarp falling when the tailgate is closed? I find I need to reset the entire thing if I want tonuse it when the tailgate is closed.
I have not found a great solution and have used the tarp a lot more since this video and mostly just tension it for the hatch being open.
I tend to mostly use it for afternoon rain showers and find that it does a better job in the rain with the hatch section open but occasionally have accepted some flop when not storming.
Overall been a cheap solution to being able to get out of the elements but this issue has me looking at awnings and other solutions for the future.
Any issues with bears ?
No issues with bears on this trip or any other.
When in bear country I take proper precautions and have avoided any encounters or problems
How tall are you?
i'm 5' 9" but have plenty of extra length with my setup
