That’s basically where I mounted my catch can. I hated how all the kits for these trucks put it back by the coolant reservoir making it hard to reach. Mine is a little more forward yet than yours. I used some angled aluminum and then a piece of aluminum bar stock as bracing (I originally tried mounting mine exactly like yours but it was like a spring and I didn’t want it bouncing about under the hood). Used -6an fittings, push-lok hose, and braided hose sheathing. Probably $100 in on it and works great and looks great.

Yeah I had the can, the fittings, the aluminum - heck I even had the hose.
Just took time to piece it all together!
