I understand why you would want such a car, its the whole package.. the looks, manual, 4WD, sound, space, sporty, everything.. Greetings from impreza sti 2003 driver!
This thing is incredible, I would love to import one to Canada in the future. For now I'm just slowly working on building my 04 FXT up to outperform an STi.
I love mine that is for sure. It has grown on me over the last few years. You can see out of it, you can eat lunch in it, it will never get stuck.Mine is just a STI equipped XT auto.
I've watched too many of your videos. Had to get out and indulge in the "late night car scene" in my city. They called themselves the Night Kids. I love how the car scene has grown over the years.
@@Madvillian am I talking about it tho? We've gone from super cars having 600 horsepower be the limit to 1500+ and 600 hp being just a regular sports car thing, you can buy a 900hp demon for 50k when that was unheard of 10 years prior
he actually has 9 cup holders, he probably didn't realize it when he made the vid but the arm rest one has a cover that can be opened to reveal another one. i know that because i also own an SG9
I literally had to pause the video @12:47and run out to my 04 sti forester to check out if my seats pulled forward like that as well. My 01 sti foresters back seats actually lean back incrementally and was disappointed that my 04's didn't. This is nice to know now but the SF back seat u don't lose legroom so still a better back seat imo.
I have the same car, I imported it to Canada. How did you get the JDM SSM to communicate with torque? I have Torque Pro and bought the OBDLink LX. I can get it to work with BTSsm but not Torque. Love the Channel and I would love to come to Japan myself! Great content 👍👍👍
If I may ask what axriod system is that I have 2006 forester I do want the adjustable damper but wat I need to get that from the sti forester ... but I really want. The infotainment system on the radio android with the gauges
@@AlexanderPews my guts are telling me the same thing, hes not into modding for a go car and his prev car was a good stock everything under the hood, but i hope he gets the sg9 atleast a tune and make sure the afr is spot on
HI Albo !!!! amazing car brother I own his little brother Forester Cross Sports and last year I've swapped my original 17" STI enkei wheels to to 18" STI Enkei's and i do run same tyres THE Bridgestone Potenza S001 tyres 225/45 R18 but since they aren't my stock wheels and tyres I cant find correct tyre pressure chart can You Please tell me what pressure You run on them front and rear ...
Lets see, the FXT STI is faster, has better handling because of much better suspension pieces, better braking system. Not to mention it looks much better. I could go on and on.
Wait isnt it suppose to be nine cupholders? My dad owns a forester sport 2007, we dont have the sliding ones in the front but ik theres a sliding one in the center compartment??
Hi Albo, greetings from Malaysia! I have the same car here and would like to install the Atoto head unit too! Looks so cool, which model and size is it that you are using?
Hey man, I was wondering what adaptor/interface you used with that android head unit to get the gauges working? I tried a standard bluetooth OBD reader but it wouldn't work with my Forester STi as the protocol is too old or something.
I'd really like one of these it's just a do everything car. Only problem when I do my research on the Subaru cars every forum has posts saying how unreliable and general running costs are high. Any of you guys on here able to confirm if its as bad as some say?
Gerry Crompton every car brand is gonna have people that say it’s expensive to own and unreliable. They’re also gonna have people that say they are cheap to own and never break down. Subaru’s can be expensive if you drive them hard, don’t do maintenance, use cheap parts, or have very high miles, but that can be said for all car brands. It’s commonly accepted that Asian car brands tend to last a lot longer than American and European brands, but this doesn’t mean the used Subaru with 200,000+ miles won’t be a lemon. Do your research on the car, know what things to look for, get under the car, pop the hood, drive her hard on a test drive and listen for off noises, take it to a mechanic you trust for an inspection, and if it’s got a turbo make sure it’s in good condition.
Can someone confirm why this is called an sg9? My 2008 xt sports has an sg6 in the vin and so do the pre-facelifted fozzies. I see lots of people referring to this as the sg9 but it has the same chassis as pre-facelift. I am going to need references, not just “that’s what it’s called.” I’ve had this car since new, mind you.
I just park the car on my street when i need any panel work. 3 times they have smashed along my RHS. new number arrived and front spray job in 2012. 2014 wing mirror and new res front door and 2017 the idiot on the phone had the rear panel on the rHs done for me. Thank the lords he also destroyed the rear bumper so they replaced that. The first 2 cost me 500 dollars twice in excess insurance, number 3 had to pay for his effort. My RHS is looking pretty good now. Plus the panel beaters do a better clean of my engine bay each time.
I saw your working in Japan video and your car videos are dope too! I’m currently living in Taiwan but looking to move to Japan in a few months. Do you prefer to live in Osaka or Tokyo?
Love how he says things that are clearly jokes in such a regular tone, don't even know why it makes me chuckle
the more sti badges that there are, the better the car will perform.
I want one so bad !!!

sold my imported sg9 3 years ago with an engine failure. had a pre facelift model street legal in germany. grade 4/b 80k. great car! enjoy yours.

Been looking at one of these since forever. Great vehicle choice my brother.
Love the all in one design of this car! It is the JDM equivalent of an Audi RS6
@Stimpy&Ren it's older, what do you expect? Horsepower has increased exponentially over the past few years

Wow! One of the best vid of Foz SG9. Thanks bro. Watching you from Russia
You missed the 7th cup holder on the arm rest. Just slide it back and will appear next to the 6th.
What are you talking about? There are only six cup holders unless you have the option that added a slide out cupholder on the double din dash panel
@@tiktoksarelame9721 there are two cupholders in the flipped out (upside down) armrest. You Have to slide the tray out to reveal the hidden one.

Beauty of a car man!
Actually 9 cup holder that arm rest that you slide forward give another so on the arm rest there are 2.
Bro that jacket is so clean!
Hey Albo, when can we expect that good good civic racing documentary??
i was about to ask the same thing. when's the no good racing documentary?

There is another cup holder in the arm rest, just move plastic lid.
Thanks for the video! I enjoyed it!

That interior is what every car owners dream of
@Stimpy&Ren interior need to be simple. Mercedes interiors are full of uselles luxury shit.
Is it Japanese only? New as well? Can't find anything about it besides some articles about a upcoming car show.
