Only just found you today but I think you taught this so well and I loved the editing! Some really good key points popping up as you were talking. I like that you talk a lot about wrist positions and even where to hit the note for maximum clarity when playing, because it's so important and easily missed! Also good hearing someone else from the UK, no shade to anyone else, it's just that I hear and watch lots of music videos with Americans, and it's refreshing to hear the change! I hope your channel continues to grow, you deserve it! Just subscribed!

This was great, I been tryin to find out about "play piano with chords" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Nonason Ranincoln Genie - (do a google search )?
It is an awesome one of a kind guide for discovering how to play the piano like a pro without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my brother in law got amazing success with it.

Great video. I have a request. Can you do a tips and tricks video on inversions? I’m particularly interested in how you use inversions to go up and down the scale and transition from major and minor chords.
Hi Bill, yes that is definitely something there will be a lot of content on in the future as inversion shapes are really helpful for navigating your way around the piano and playing chords

Hey your videos are really helpful and I always try to follow your advice, but I have a question regarding your advice to keep my hand straight:
I am struggling with the problem that when having to play white keys (at B flat Major for example) my fingers are just a little to thick to fit in between the black keys . My only solution is to put an angle at my wrist because my fingertips are just to wide otherwise. Is there even a solution and is it so bad to change the angle a little bit? Or tbh they do but I have to find the very perfect position to not pull the black keys down with the side of my fingers and it's really frustrating.
Does the lesson show 1,3,5 as fingering for all left and right hand?
Just started on this video and feeling a bit daunted but will persevere! Did you ever do a playalong video to practise these chords? I think I would find it helpful, as I did for naming the notes.
Try not to be overwhelmed, you don’t have to learn them all fluently in one go. I think I mentioned groupings in that video (if not another) I have a big plan for this year including lots of guided practice, so finding chords is on the list, will hopefully get there very soon!

Hi, sorry I changed website and updated PDFs a few months back. That exact one isn't there anymore but there is a similar on with chord formulas etc for a whole bunch of common 3 and 4 note chords at www.pianofs.com/downloads. And great work with the scales!

Thanks for downloading! When you say push all that stuff in your head, it'll eventually stick over time with experience of actually using them. Hopefully the sheet well be a handy reference for when you come across new chords
