The fact that the Drifter had nothing, being alone in the Zariman, tortured by their own creation of Duviri and getting sent to a literal war in the star chart (and meeting the Operator). To being sent to 1999, where they finally can talk to people, feel somewhere like "home", have a relationship. Be happy. (Drip Squad!)
The drifters story overtook the operators for me as soon as I played Duviri and I seriously love that they play such a major part of 1999, it just feels like a really nice moment considering how messed up and lonely their story has been throughout the game. I also only just drew the parallels to them trying to save Teshin by rewinding and now by them trying to save the Hex too.
I feel like the Hex are the only family that drifter have, yes you have Lotus and the Holdfasts, but the Hex are something else... and the drifter needs this, a family, a place where he can call it home.
@@pixelbros8313 The holdfasts were a bit of a disappointment, I felt there should have been a lot more comradery there, all of you guys were survivors in your own right of the Zariman (even if the holdfasts are technically dead) but there seemed to be almost no connection with the holdfasts aside from 'yup stuff happened you were there'. @christoff124 I decided to give my drifter a male frame but female voice then did my best to tweak the face so she's as close to a fifty-year-old woman as possible. she's so tired.

I have the past two nights. And trust me, it ends up having you reflect on the "ending" of the quest, but it is calming, and almost kinda sad in a way.
The melody of the synth is an adaptation of the Lotus epilogue music, when you choose her name & I cannot understate how much that touched me throughout every Hex chat the past days.
A beautiful song. A moment for reflection and peace, to look back on what was and what comes next. The conversations you have here can change your entire world and you might even see yourself looking back at you. Tenno, Human, or not, we have all come a long way from what we once were. What were you then and what will you be now?
This expansion has absolutely been a blast to play, log in everyday to have a actual personal chat between 2 characters that doesnt feel forced but flows and weaves like a actual conversations. Sometimes you mess up saying the wrong thing but its not the end of the world because tomorrow is another chance. Warframe is the best f2p game ive ever played, the story has always been gripping and now with Drifter finally having a actual place to call his own i am excited to see where the story goes. I hope we see the kid every once in a while but Drifter being the main focus is amazing in my eyes because as someone who waited years for New War whennit came out and i was able to make my drifter i was so happy to see actual progression instead of my charcater staying the same with all the new traumas and hardships they faced. They had to grow up and progress.

@@Cosmo_raptor In that case, I'm looking forward to he hour long version as well! 😁 I never did this sort of thing, so I have no idea how hard it actually is, but shouldn't it be as simple as just stopping the music at the end at a point where if you loop it, it plays perfectly forever?
