I love it when Tim exposes us to brands we are not familiar with. Tim also gives us his reasons on how each brand makes his cut to qualify as high horology. This is the secret sauce of why Tim is a cut above the rest of the watch channels!
Always miss the live stream at this time of year. Wonderful selection of watches, Tim! German independent D. Dornbluth & Sohn is one of my favourites. Beautiful, customisable, cost effective.
Some epic watches/brands Difficult to choose between them The fact that they are so customisable is also so appealing Many Thanks Tim My pleasure for logging on
Came Across The Watch Box Channel And I Have Been Addicted Ever Since...Last Week Went Into An Wristwatch Dealership For Rolex, And True To Word, The Daytona,The Sky dweller Where Only Available Via Wait Listing...Took Sometime Out To Appreciate A Few Omega, Tudor And Tag Watches.....Thanks Tim Im Officially Addicted To Horology...By The Way My Dad Was In The British Navy And He Was A Collector Of A Few Bespoke Watches...
Thanx for the great show Tim. I checked out Holland bikes at the Made show in portland last weekend. Your name came up and smiles and platitudes were shared. If you ever make it to the rose city, give me a shout-out and a nice ride on a nice bike is assured. Thank you for the standard of excellence that you establish for those sharing their love of horology and timepiece collecting. Cheers!
Wow, you saw Bill and Cody at Made? I'm so jealous!!! I'm amazed that they remember me all these years later; I bought my Holland Exogrid in 2012! Best, Tim
A few months back, Aren personally came to my home to deliver my HN00 and it’s been an absolute pleasure to wear. The case perfectly conforms to the curvature of my wrist and the dial shines in any lighting. Saying that I’m excited for his next creations is an understatement!
Listening to Tim describe watches is such a treat. Like, I learn new big words every time. Sounding them out now. I'd like to have Tim replace Siri/Google. I'd just pull over, listen to the word painting, then forget what I asked, but feel ever more sophisticated and cultivated. Great work once again! P.S. As a Finn, I'm saving for a Voutilainen. Never going to happen but it sounds provocative.
Man micro brings is my thing. I stay away from mainstream. I like the real exclusivity of them. Actually watching Tim’s videos , I learned more lux brands than ever. All useless info it seems cuz I will never be able to own, but it is actually really and very well great info. I learned so much to really Pick and enjoy my micro brands. And maybe one day I will know exactly what I want when it’s time to buy my first luxury brand
Someone in the audience brought up the Rolex purchase of its AD Bucherer. There are so many pluses and minuses, as well as, so many unknowns. Only time will tell how this will impact Rolex’s long term strategy. It will be interesting to hear what the Rolex Account Executives are saying to the AD’s all over the world.
Ideally, we'll have a WatchBox UK sooner rather than later. I have no specifics to share, but I know it's a place we'd love to be in the future. Best, Tim
Good news: we're doing a "Season 2" group watch this year. It'll be the same volume as 2022 at 20-25 pieces, and as with the first, 100 percent of the proceeds go to the artisan/creator. I'll never make a cent on those watches, and that's the way I want it. Oh yeah, and one more thing: there's an Easter egg in THIS EPISODE that previews the TTWTM Season 2 group watch from Armand Billard. Best, Tim
WatchBox, not so much. We sell preowned watches that we buy from end users, so we can continue doing our thing on that front. At the authorized dealer level, I'm less certain. It's hard to believe Rolex wouldn't prefer you buy direct through Bucherer. I would be worried about that if I were in the Rolex AD business exclusively. Best, Tim
Those Havid Nagan watches are stunning, however, the fact that the dials are stamped and not guilloché is a "wannabe" approach that are not my cup of tea. I would rather prefer a honest flat dial.
I always try to acknowledge the guys who reach out and mention they bought the watch from us. Since I'm not part of sales, I don't know whether a watch in a wrist shot came from WB or not, so I'm dependent on the client to mention it. If they're kind enough to do so, I feel like a "thank you" is in order when I show the shot. Best, Tim
I covered some RGM watches recently, so Roland had to sit out this round. But I'm going to shoot an "American watches" feature soon enough, so stay tuned. Best, Tim
Swatch may be targeting non-watch collectors and scalpers to spread Blancpain's name to the market. In addition to that, Swatch wants Rolex fanboys to know FF is the father of all divers, not submariner.

Armand is amazing to work with while choosing all of the details of your watch. The process was unlike anything else.

Best show and host on RUclips! Always waiting for the next one. Keep up the good work sir.
Love the show, Tim’s enthusiasm and incredible knowledge! You are awesome!
Tim, tell us about that digital clock behind you. I love it.
It's a Nixie Clock made by Dalibor Farny in the Czech Republic.

Great list. Under 10k I'm still all in on Habring2, but I love what you put together here.
Interesting pieces ✅️✅️✅️. Thanx Tim and Shawn. Enjoy your holiday🥃🥃🥃

Thank you for watching! I'm glad I can provide that much entertainment

Man, I wasn't going to buy another watch this year....but this video has made me rethink that 😅
Food for thought, right? These are great options that don't force you to choose between a watch and... retirement.
Best,
Tim
❤❤....at $10k, buy the Vacheron Constantin 1956.. beautiful watch

I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 and a big fan, I can’t wait to meet TIM for lunch with two of my Watch buddies.
Ideally, we'll have a WatchBox UK sooner rather than later. I have no specifics to share, but I know it's a place we'd love to be in the future.

Ha i'm still mad I didn't jump in and go for the Royter Chrono in the watch group. Those are stellar watches. Cool to see it highlighted on the show.

Great episode as always, Tim. How do you think the bucerer acquisition will effect the the average AD customer or watchbox customer?
WatchBox, not so much. We sell preowned watches that we buy from end users, so we can continue doing our thing on that front. At the authorized dealer level, I'm less certain. Thank you! Watches at prices that don't cause chest pains 👍🏻❤😃
I know the feeling. Sometimes, the price of these things and the agony of the decision takes most of the fun out of the purchase.

Tim
Hey! My watch made it!!
Those Havid Nagan watches are stunning, however, the fact that the dials are stamped and not guilloché is a "wannabe" approach that are not my cup of tea. I would rather prefer a honest flat dial.
Wow, watches so many of your videos but first time I see your face... you look a lot different than how I pictured you (à lot skinnier 😂)
Thanks for trusting our company 😉

Don't forget you can get the Christopher Ward Bel canto for 3 grand. You just have to wait a while for it!
Greetings from Panama.
It might be the lighting but it looks like you got a tupe.
This is about half way to a haircut.
Best,
Tim
No Ming watches?
Don't get the notion about Wolex buying Bucherer. What's
the point of buying Bucherer cause they have the license to sell Patek dress watches?
Not sure I copy. Are you asking why Rolex won't need or want to buy Patek? Or why it won't need to make dress watches if it retails Patek?
Best,
Tim
Love making tgis live
That is huge suit jacket
Thankfully, it's not a suit jacket. It's more of a casual thing called "City Hunter" and inspired by Spanish Teba hunting wear.
Best,
Tim
Miased the love stream, but hey...first comment and all that 😅
Thanks for joining us! It's always great to see new names in the comment section.

No RJM watches? 🤷🏽♂️
I covered some RGM watches recently, so Roland had to sit out this round. But I'm going to shoot an "American watches" feature soon enough, so stay tuned.

19:29 This can be red…
I would get the Royale with cheese
Because of the metric system?

Breguet and tesla usually means sensible shoes
At the very least, it does show an inclination to try something different.
Best,
Tim
I can't wait for the greatest watch show of all times . 9-11-should be 🔥
