One thing I like about these videos, Level UP always seems to come up with new and unique gimmicks and ideas for levels that should really be used in official Mario games.

And his hat as well, he's basically the Reverse King Midas, he cannot touch anyone, not even Luigi or Peach.

Ironically the ability is a double edged sword, it can be be very powerful when used wisely, but if you are not careful it could bite you in the butt.

Simple idea but very well implemented with items that then turn to stone and the Twomp was also very logical

What I think is cool about Level Up's animations is the grass effect that is placed on the ground, but one thing that Nintendo should have added, I realized that Level Up cares about these small details, after all, even though they are small, they make a big difference when we watch :)
Actually don't think Nintendo should have added grass, because the ground is BRICKS.
This was very well thought through, it's like you designed how a Mario game would work with this mechanic and then put Mario through it. I really felt like I was learning how a game like this would work as he kept making mistakes! The facepalm turning himself to stone was great. And the floating key/door part got me, smart idea Mario!

I was scared that he was going to end up turning one of his friends into stone at the end...
He probably already did. I mean I wouldn't exactly call Waluigi a friend, more like a rival of him and his brother Luigi. But still, Waluigi was probably the first thing Mario turned to stone, and considering his attitude the whole vid, Mario didn't even realize what he had done yet.
