Hi Richard this stove uses Paraffin/ Kerosene, it is preheated with methylated spirit this heats up the coil and turns the paraffin kerosene oil in to a gas
Ive had. One since 1970. They can be hard to fire. Up. Open the small screw. Use denatured alcohol or light fluid in the cup. This vaporizes the kerosene since it will not burn as a liquid. As the cup starts to fire down vaporized fuel starts to burn. Close the small screw. A few pumps will bring the vaporize fuel into the burner. If it “floods” with fuel you used too little lighter fluid to vaporized the kerosene or your in a windy situation and burning fluid in the cup didn’t get to heat and vaporized the kerosene. Finally always use clean fuel 2x filtered
very beautiful, thanks!,, I have a non used one was gifted to me, it is new till now!

Wish mine worked as well as yours. Mine either floods or goes out!

Very nice. What fuel are you using?
