  • The COVID-19 pandemic and safe-distancing measures are having a profound impact, not just on humans, but also on our animals. How are they coping with attractions closed, adoption drives cancelled and most animal welfare services shut down? How will we shelter and protect them as funds dry up and with medicines in short supply? From the elephants in the Singapore Zoo to the cats on Singapore's streets, their human carers must find a different way to keep their animals healthy, safe and alive.

they dont potray enough about small animals especially hamsters
it's very very very frustrating to see how people raise hamsters during CB cuz they are bored and it's cheap and throw them away when they lose interest
most of them do not make it by the time people find them and becuz of their short lifespan ppl think it's ok but IT'S NOT
stop having pets if you cannot commit they are living beings and CAN feel pain and suffering

They should be blacklisted. It shows how cruel those people can be

For a rich country like Singapore, one would think that there would be more generosity in helping out charities like the SPCA. Whether it’s humans, cats, dogs, rabbits, mice, birds, etc, we’re all living beings that deserve care and attention to our needs

Here in the Philippines, animals are also affected by this pandemic. Manila, Malabon and Avilon zoos are asking for donation since visitors in these zoos have dwindled/turned away. Not to mention animal shelters and rescue centers here are also heavily burdened because donations started to slow down significantly..
I hope that things will get to normal soon..💗

I'm from the United States. I don't know what Circuit Breaker is. Is it closed due to Covid?

Circuit breaker is like your quarantine. Basically the government try to slow down the growth of the virus via the different measures in different phases. However this is COVID we are talking about so it got even worse.
In an attempt to stop and minimize the increasing COVID cases. The whole country is in quarantine for a month before slowly opening up.

The root of the problem, is the over production of cats and dogs among other animals, the world over, by breeders, thousands of animals are euthanized across the globe yearly, by their breeders, because they are not ''''perfect for profit'''' a leg a bit short, cross eyed, to name a few, owners who get animals, because next door neighbors have, then they are tired of the responsibility, in the wild, animals instinctively, know how to regulate their breeding

just cook the surplus animals to feed the people that can't afford food/homeless. there's nothing wrong with killing animals to eat them, humans already done that since forever...
