Combo is Surfosaurus Max reskinned. We have the latter and just recently have gotten it to the table. I really like it! It’s really nifty. Sad to see the quirky theming gone but I get that the Combo aesthetic is better in Barnes & Noble.
I'd personally go with Just One over So Clover. It's still co-operative, but there are so many words that just don't work together in So Clover that you often end up with one player sat there scratching their head while everyone else is already done. I do really enjoy both and they regularly fill time at the end of sessions, but for a gateway party game, I think So Clover just loses out. :)
Ironically I was able to get a copy of LotR Trick Taking Game at PAX Unplugged, but I have still not been able to find For Northwood anywhere! I was hoping to pick that up at Unplugged as well, but no one had it. :(
Well, to be honest, 7 days before (christian) christmas is way too late for me and my brain to get any use of your guide. No idea about your intentions and schedule but for a big part of your audience this video is just wayyyy to late. I already got gift guides from 20 other channels and made my order. And yes, technically you got my click. But still I lost some trust in all ways. And I mean this in a 100% contructive way for your channel and job....
Also: get just one! It is WAY more universelly appealing than so clover. Trust me. I played both a LOT of times!
Wait, what? Star Wars GraviTrax?!
Oh no. It's perfectly okay for a middle-age man, right? :)

I love that you didn't love Canvas at first and now it's made it on to so many of your lists XD It's gotta lotta good stuff going for it
Yep! I remember being mildly ok with it and now it just works. Not all games are winners at first.

As much as I want LOTR.....I want for Northwood more :)
You recommend for northwood, but i've been trying to find a copy of it for like a year and a half now with no luck.....
