Appreciate the love and thanks for letting us know that there were no AI generated voices👌🏽wasn’t aware at first and we appreciate you guys RESPECTFULLY correcting us when we make a mistake❤️
Some of the voices weren’t AI. They actually went into their voice archive and used the recordings. The Olaf and Genie part actually used unused dialogue from behind the scenes of Aladdin recorded by Robin Williams himself
Here's two fun facts that are very sweet to know: - That guy in red at the start was Burny Mattinson, he is a disney employee and animator who work with disney the longest since Lady and the Tramp in 1953. His last film he work on was in Strange World and sadly he passed away at the start of this year. So this short is like a great way to honor his legacy. - At the scene with Mickey looking at Walt's portrait, the song that plays in the back is a piano version of "Feed the Birds" from Merry Poppins. It's said to be Walt Disney's favorite song in all of his movies. In his office he used to have a piano and the Sherman Brothers, who wrote the song, he would often get them to come on a Friday afternoon just to play that song. What also make this part in the short special is that one of the Sherman Brother who are still alive till this day play the song in the piano for the short.
The voices of the characters were not AI, in fact, Disney rehired the original actors for their respective characters. The voice of the genie Robin Williams, in fact, were old recordings.audios of him when they were making Aladdin which were never used in the film itself. Robin Williams has more than 100 audio recordings of him voicing the genie which half of them were never used... For this short they brought in basically all the actors who are still alive to do the original voices of their characters. As well as the animators who made those characters came back. in general it was very nice to see all these character together again Even movie characters That are not so recognized or which go very unnoticed by Disney They were in this short which is very cute and memorizes everything that the studio has created for years...the scene where Mikey Was looking at Walt's picture With his favorite music in the background was a great tribute In his presence Mikey didn't say much but only what was necessary, which makes it very memorable And it's one of my favorite scenes in the short. Disney fans were not expecting something like this And it shows that Disney still has a little bit of that magic in which we grew up in And marked an entire generation they have not been at their best Lately but this short they made shows that they still have something left in them that one day we hope will return.
Fun Facts: 1) Right before Genie appears, another Robin Williams character flies by before Timon tells Olaf to hurry up (in this particular reaction, you can seem them around 2:41 ). That's the only character to appear in this short that came from the parks and it's Robin Williams as a lost boy (like Peter Pan's lost boys). 2) Eric Goldberg (the man who originally animated the Genie in Aladdin, Phil in Hercules, and more) was responsible for training a whole new group of hand-drawn animators that would work on both this and an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit short that was released in 2022 (which Goldberg himself directed).
1:06 heeeeey not sure if you know but he was the longest employee who worked with Disney Animation since Lady & the Tramp until Strange World. He passed away this year in February. That one scene is a big deal especially with fans.
The old man was NOT a random old man he was the longest working Walt Disney employee even the ladder decade and a half before Walt’s death and worked there for a 7 decades after is last movie was as recent as Strange World the latest Disney Animation.

None of the voices were AI.
@joshuamunn2410 Nope! It was all from archival recordings from Bobby Driscoll himself :D
@@CalicoJackalWhich is a huge relief. Either Disney contacted the original voice actors, soundalikes, or used archive audio.
Whoever made you believe AI was used in this short film is completely wrong and totally fabricated. None was used at all.
@@charlespartridge2902 Not entirely. The "Aye Aye Captain!" was from a soundalike named Lee Slobotkin. The rest was Bobby Driscoll.

Fun fact they got permission to use Robert's voice from his estate and went through 1000 hours worth of footage.
The voices of the og disney characters are not Ai. They are done by using voices from the archives.
The guy getting pissed off at the vending machine was Stromboli from Pinocchio.
Actually they didn't use AI for the old characters. They used leftover dialogue from the movies
do your research, it wasn't AI.
Gotchu fam relax
That guy who was shaking the vending machine is from Pinocchio and his name is Stromboli
