This is my favorite super niche channel on RUclips. My favorite part of baseball video games in the 90s was trading. Trading in sports is so weird but interesting. Love it
I always loved how Greinke eventually returned to the royals and Cain to the brewers Edit: love that you cover the small details like Greinkes 3 consecutive starts. He was ejected for throwing the ball on the ground angrily after failing to beat the runner to the bag. I heard he was angry cause a scouts were in the stands that day, since the trade deadline was close. This lead to the 3 consecutive starts. Even when Greinke fails he succeeds.
Fun Fact: Greinke was initially going to be traded to the Nationals in 2010 but since he didn't want to play for a rebuilding team, Greinke refused it. funnily enough, the closest Greinke would ever get to winning a ring would be pitching against the Nationals in a game 7. Had that trade happened, this changes literally the whole video since the Milwaukee trade never happens, and the Royals wanted Jordan Zimmermann, Ian Desmond, and Danny Espinosa all of whom were key to the mid 2010s Nats teams.
You should do a vid on the Jerry Dybzinski for Pat Tabler ChiSox Royals trade tree Two very random 80s players who ended up creating a 40 year trade tree that started at the beginning of the 1983 season and still has potential to keep going if the Guardians trade away Emmanuel Clase someday

Not to mention that Greinke apparently HATED Milwaukee primarily because he didn’t mesh with the clubhouse.
