    Blew my mind !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    STARLINK PERFORMANCE IN HEAVY SNOW VIDEO! WOW
    • New version StarLink S...
    StarLink internet just showed up, So Freaking excited how fast this internet is up in the middle of nowhere!!! So exciting! it is off grid internet/ off grid wifi . Who know rural areas could have fast internet speeds! Thats rite... its the New version of starlink and I show you starlink instal and starlink speed test and of course a starlink review another great option for off grid internet.
    Starlink was a tail to me for a while until a neighbor up the canyon got Starlink, he said its space x ... i was like space x ? Space x at that time was just a idea... Elon Musk was trying to do the imposable. in my mind. Elon Musk had wild ideas and I did not want to get excited over something that seemed farfetched... super-fast internet speeds in rural areas!!! from space x in the sky... It was hard for me to believe! Cant wrap my head around having a great off grid internet option, so I hope my new version starlink helps and the starlink instal, starlink speed test, and starlink review helps you !
    Starlink fast internet so fast did i say so fast well its even faster than that. With over 40,000 satellites in the sky now no wonder there is no problem to get fast starlink internet speeds
    Maybe you need internet on your boat or internet on you rv or camper, maybe you live in the middle of the mountains and have solar power and want to have fast satellite starlink internet, and be able to use your cell phone to call on wifi. starlink install , speed test, and review for a off grid internet option.

    Im in Northwestern Ontario Canada. Ordered mine a week ago. Mine is stuck at a shipping facility in a city. Crazy how fast mine came in then my cousin, who was waiting 2 months for his. I'm excited to get away from cheap internet in our area, mostly companies like xplornet and all that, with high latency issues. My cousin who has starlink gets around 200mbps on his speeds. I'm stoked to get mine whenever it ships from the city haha.

    So I clicked on this bec of the channel name... I already knew about the Crisco candle, BUT using a paper towel twisted tight and inserted into the original can. I wanted to see what you did, plus I assumed "Riverside" was "Riverside, CA"... I live in El Cajon, CA (east of San Diego). I loved your ideas on transferring to glass jars, and inserting an actual CANDLE in the Crisco! I was watching dumbfounded, and love your delivery... so... SUBSCRIBED! So I get to this video and I had NO IDEA this existed...! I have been looking for options to cut the cord from cable TV (astronomical prices), but keep internet. I just got my Starlink kit (rectangular dish) like yours, and set it up a few days ago here in rural Pennsylvania. I used an existing pole on my roof to secure the dish and drilled a 3/4 in hole in one of my window frames to rout the cable into the house,very easy. So far, ( with multiple speed tests) this is the fastest internet connection that I have ever had. Latency about 30, download about 50 Mbps. I put my deposit in well over a year ago, but it was definitely worth the wait. So far, so very good.

      Starlink is the only Internet Satellite provider hat charge extra for mounting bit's...and demand a complete payment for the equipment...all other providers send everything needed for the install and allow users to pay it on a kind of long term rental system...
      Starlink is just another one of the Musk's greedy business model just like Tesla cars...
      Musk adopted the Apple approx and decided on the proprietary peripherals just to make the users spend more money on things that any other provider offer for free like Ethernet connections...!

    Put starlink in your house and then dig a trench with PVC from your house to your shop and then just set up another router off the Ethernet line that's in the PVC coming from your house to your shop, you'll have 100-200+ Mbps at your house and 100-200 Mbps at your shop instead of 12 Mbps which is slow at your house because the router is so far away, you'll have to get the Ethernet adapter that's sold separately on the starlink store , hardline is alot better then wifi for anything expecially if your using two buildings for internet off the same internet, wifi just doesn't cut it for far distances

    Our home base is in a wooded area on the side of a rocky hill in blackhills. No cell service. Only options Hughesnet or DSL..not gonna happen. We ordered the Starlink, got the new dish. At first were really disappointed. Doing our research, it takes about 12 hours for dish to do a complete scan if you are in an area with lots of obstacles. So went back, mounted it on top of our 5R, and put modem/router in a side bay we're not using. Just left it. We're caretakers for a business so can't go "home" every day. Went back up and set up network, etc. Even with all the crap around us, I texted my daughter in Rapid City and facebook messaged another. My open signal says we are getting 50+ download, ~15 upload and latency of 50-70...we have cable internet in town at business which is usually 55-60 download, 8-10 upload and latency anywhere from 40-100+...yeh Starlink is very good for us.

    Why would you put the dish over 80 yards away when it uses WIFI, why not put it on or near the house? Starlink is capable of 300Mbps down and 30 Mbps up, so at 12Mbps you are just wasting bandwidth.

    • @RiversideHomesteadLife
      @RiversideHomesteadLife  2 года назад

      There was a lot that went into placement and getting the cords ran into the house and where we really needed it and where the dish needed to be with only 100 feet of cord it didn’t work, that’s why it needed to be there

    • @shuriken4852
      @shuriken4852 2 года назад

      @@RiversideHomesteadLife FYI you can get a longer cord, as the one that comes with it is detachable. If I remember correctly they have a 150ft (45.72m) cable available.

    Enjoyed the video,my equipment is on it's way. I'm thinking about mounting my unit on the roof but wasn't crazy about drilling through the shingles for the mount,one of the pictures in the video showed some type of base that looks like it went under the the tabs of the shingles and then the pivot style pole mount attached to it. Do you or anybody know where i could get one of these?

    While you are waiting for installation to connect to Starlinks, don't you think installing 30,000 starlink satellites above Earth at the low orbit will form a dense hazardous layer of space junk? Back in 2015, Facebook designed and tried to launch ONE wifi satellite to help cover much of the Africa continent, 14 countries. So far Tesla got 12000 satellites approved by the Fed, let's boycott the wide-spread installation of even 12000 satellites. Because if there is not better wifi satellite technology or Tesla does not use the most advanced technology and so latency is high if not utilizing densely installed satellites at low orbid, the government should not approve such wide application of the backward technology!
    We supported the government to use Starlink technology in 2019 during pandemic to free coverage based on the fact that 1-3 satellites are sufficient to cover one large continent as Facebook designed (its launch was destroyed just because it tried to help other countries in Africa)!
    Don't you think 12000 or 30000 satellites smells like horrendous junk technology and capitalist decay, if you don't care about the environmental wellbeing of the earth?
