Nice batch of cars from this Q case. That Nova Wagon Gasser shown has a bent front axle. And absolutely *noone* said that '67 TH Camaro is ugly, in fact all HW collectors want this one, including me. Whatever. Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of the best new castings Hot Wheels has done in the last few years and the $uper is even better. I like the Mod Rod too, nice design. Thanks for all the highlights.
Hope to see a Project 8 in the bright blue and also dark green with the gold stripe. Green would make a good Car Culture. The Project 7 got all of it's factory colors so I hope the Project 8 does too.
Agree 100% about the lambo wheels very fitting for that model and they actually resemble manufactured wheels imo. I'm down with the camaro wheels when used proper...GT3 RS one of the most underrated exotic cars ever made as Daily Driver and a weekend track day beast.
I have been collecting cars since 1976 ( I was three years old back then ), and I cannot help myself, but think that, today, scalpers are killing our joy of collecting these beautiful little cars. Unfortunately some collectors cannot find a lot of these vehicles (I am very lucky so far! ). I found almost all cars that I wanted it, by traveling 3 different states: New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York. I hate scalpers, and sometimes I wish Lamley wouldn't highlighed some of the cars that he shows, only because the scalpers will problably go out and buy them all, and them later, resell them for 10 times the original price! 😢 I am sorry, but it's just the way I feel !
Mattel saved some of the best stuff of 2019 for the last couple of cases. Too bad my local stores still are stuck on C cases with no sign of matchbox or premiums in a year...

Nah Best case of 2019: N case (Reason being: 2 chirons, 2 civics, 2 RX7, 2 RS5, 2 Avants etc. Lots of double licensed castings). 2nd and 3rd best: L and M case. The cases i opened each have over 40 licensed models. Best Super Treasure Hunt: Nissan Skyline R34 (B case). Reason being: Looks more like an actual model you can find on the road. Though the porsche is tempting, the wheels on the super is not that great. 2nd for Porsche! Best New Licensed Casting of the year: Hands down to be Bugatti Chiron no doubt! Best Fantasy casting of the year: Honestly no castings caught my eye. N.A for this category.
I like the Camaro too, but I gotta disagree with it being a slam dunk best TH of the year and nothing else is even close...too many really nice Thunts this year. Twin Mill, Super Chrome Vette, Ford Bronco, Fast Bed Hauler, even the Honda Monkey is a pretty neat casting. My personal fav is the Hauler but I also think the Vette and TMill were really popular. It will be interesting to see how your voting will go.

Huracan-yes, wheels-no! Ditto that Merc, both of which deserve better! XJ220 looks excellent too. Found the earlier Nova Gasser today which is nice. 67 Camaro looks awful, as do the shopping cart wheels & TwinMill is the best TH of this year, apart from its PLASTIC base. Purple Porsche again needs better wheels, but the STH is flawless! That orange Jag with its wing is too generic and could almost be a Tesla or Porsche Panamera for all I care! Classic example of cars imitating other cars and just not for me. Mod Rod? Yeah, it's pretty good and looks like a lot of custom ratrods, so I have no problems with it at all (rear wheels look oddly positioned and they shouldn't have mixed with those shopping cart horrors!) Better than a Shaker!!? Hmm, maybe in its looks for originality but hey, there's a few million collectors might dispute it. I'm a collector, with approximately 150+ Boneshakers, some original, some customed, some to-be-customed and it's good the model gets competition. But a ModRod with a front skull would be an interesting custom I look forward to seeing someone do on one of the Boneshaker sites! Shakers are shorter than that car and yeah, maybe the BoneShaker has been heavily used over the years. As for the "original" ModRod, Lesney/Matchbox Superfast fans will tell you that was a very different model used the name (it was No1 of the 1-75 range in the 70s). The model was a single seater, orange-glazed yellow mid-engined fantasy car with overbody exhausts and even has a British licence plate "TMV726J" which is registered as 1971! I have two with a "wildcat" tiger front sticker but it had a wheel variation and even a set of red wheels on some!
