If you leave you key fob on the bike do you still have to put it in transport mod?

You may still end up with a dead battery because the system will still constantly be searching for the fob. It will find the fob but the cycle will continue over and over. Transport mode puts the security system to sleep.

Plus leaving the fob for the thieves very courteous but not advised.
