    I sing this song to my wife and mother all the time, and I'm a Teacher For The Deaf, and I've have taught my class this song as well....And, I requested it to be played at my funeral. It is one of the 3 most important songs to my heart and soul forever. Thank you Oak Ridge Boys....

    I lost my wonderful mother June 25th 2013. I am so happy she was the one who told me to listen to this song when it first come out. I was a little boy then. And now it is my favorite Oak Ridge Boys No Matter How high I get

    God truly Blessed these men and has seen them thru, and the Lord certainly blessed and touched this music to uplift those that need it. 1 of my absolute favorite Quartets

    I lost my Mother May 3rd 2021. She was two weeks shy of ninety five years old. After four children and seventeen presidents her heart stopped. Live well Margaret B....you have accomplished your goal.

    This song is most appropriate song for moms day!!
    Mom and I watched this video when it was on CMT back in 88!! She sure enjoyed it then, as much as she did today when I played it for her!!

    Great song! I love the way they show the kids coming home to mom. Seems like kids don't respect their moms like they used to do in the old days. Love your moms now, for there is no area code to heaven. RIP Mom.

    An amazing group: Steve on lead is amazing and a nice change; Duane is a fine lead as well; Joe on high harmony and Richard on low harmony; amazing stuff. It would be interesting to hear Bill added in here too on harmony.

    He indeed is awesome!!! His name is Richard Sterban and he also was with JD Sumner and the Stamps Quartet. JD and his group having a long association with Elvis during his touring years of 1970-77. Sterban sang on many of Elvis' later Gospel songs.

    Great video with clips of their home towns. I went to Junior High School with Joe Bonsal and the scenes of his Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia and his mother brought back a lot of memories.

    Long time Oaks fan, and what I really like about this song is Richard's bass line in this one. It really adds something to this particular song. I think I started listening to these guys as a kid about 1980 or 81.

      Really? Every time that I hear an ORB song played in my area, it is always from before Steve was ever one of the singers and for the record, I've written to every station asking that his material be played as much as possible. So far I have not heard one song and I have not gotten one response from any of the stations that I have written to. Well if they have no desire to make room for Steve's musical presence.......they can bite me.
