What an absolute load of self opinionated crap from Stokes but the media let him harp on, it’s not about Stokes or Key and the clang, where are the hard questions about putting Englands greatest bowler to grass yet what are the reasons Woakes continues ? Will Woakes go to Australia in 18 month considering his age.
I could also ask considering his record outside on England how this is a long term option for England, Woakes is a fine player but Jimmy Anderson he is not so please explain that process for you as captain and the coach and Key independently rather than hiding behind each other.

well i think hes a great capt, woakes wont go downunder, but its a big risk having a totaly green bowling attack against two teams that will beat eng if they let them, so i agree with that woakes continues, i play him in 3 tests this summer and next.
