My fiancé has glaucoma and it’s ruining our lives. She’s 25 years old and ever since she found out she has been dying inside, her energy is no longer there and her will to live has been deteriorating. I pray that one day there will be a cure for this disease and she can see again. She’s currently using eye drops to lower her eye pressure but it’s still there. We get married in four months and I pray we can have a child as soon as possible afterwards so that she can see her child and be the mother she was born to be. She’s such a beautiful soul and it feels like I am hurting every night thinking about her struggles. I could never leave her even though she told me plenty of times you should be with a woman who can give you an easier life. God this is really difficult to deal with but leaving my love makes me feel as though I would leave myself and I could never let her be alone in the dark. I pray there is a cure one day because no one deserves this pain. Please love one another if you are reading this because love is the only thing that makes everything worth while.

I found out I had glaucoma at age 23..at night after work street lights would have rainbows around them...
There are different types of glaucoma and stages..
      I was staged 3....
I was already a cannabis user when I found out I had glaucoma at age 23..3 decades ago...
I was on 3 eyedrops at one time.i got a allergic reaction to 1 of them..
So I was on 2 drops and got lazer surgery in both eyes..they put a hole in eyes so pressure will go down...after a few yrs a new eyedrops came out that is good for black people.i assume it would work on other people aslo.(XALATAN)..
      xalatan had my pressure great...
My last eye doctor back in 2003 said that some people can out grow their glaucoma..I can't say that has happened to me.but I haven't taking any eyedrops for 6yrs now...
I do smoke cannabis daily...go to sleep stoned each night..smoke cannabis when I get up and continue to smoke the entire day .even at work...
I need to get back into a eye doctor. I am gonna go in stoned and see what my pressure is....
I know cannabis lowers the pressure because:I would go to eye checkups stoned sometimes while on eyedrops and other times not stoned.my pressure was always lower stoned.....
If u can grow cannabis I suggest doing it..I average 2to3 pounds in a closet and balcony..
Eating cannabis will not lower eye pressure. U need to smoke it.
You could spend around 400 to get started..buy some lights.then seeds or clones..if smell is gonna be a issue I suggest a grow tent that has a air filter system. Then your 400 just jumped 150 or 200 more......
I can't say it will work.i would give cannabis a try tho..
And some babies are born with glaucoma,so I thought I was lucky to find out at 23...
And if she does smoke cannabis she may change a little..so be patient with her..she may get lazy like.for get things.not want to go do activities as much, become a home person...
Many stains also..some strains will put u to sleep.while other strains will relax u.....
      Best of luck..

I am not aware of the extent of your fiancée's or wife's peripheral vision loss or how much her visual field has been affected. If she is undergoing treatment, it should help to halt the progression by reducing the pressure. Unfortunately, damage to the optic nerves is irreversible, and I am unsure if future solutions like repairing damaged nerves or implanting synthetic optic nerves will become available to restore lost vision. For now, it is essential to accept the reality and continue with the treatment.
I have been living with this disease for the past 19 years. I am currently 32, and I was diagnosed with glaucoma at the age of 13, with eye pressures of 55 and 53. Thanks to early detection, I do not have any significant visual field loss according to the Humphrey field test, though I do have a very small blind spot. I was treated with latanoprost, but just a month ago, my doctors changed my medication to Fixaprost, a combination of latanoprost and timolol. I am hopeful for better results, as latanoprost increases the outflow of aqueous humor, and timolol reduces its production.
When I was a child, I didn't know much about this disease, but the internet and individuals like this gentleman have been invaluable in educating us.

Research shows specific strains like blueberry help more then others. Why are not discussing different strains?

Where's the research citations. Who paid for the studies that they used to come to this conclusion? Just like the tobacco industry paid for studies that determined cigarettes weren't harmful 🤨

THC might widen your blood vessels, but smoke definitely constricts your blood vessels. The question is, would the THC expand your blood vessels, more than the smoke constricts them.

Yes the cannabis smoke can have damaging effects, especially long term. A lot of people don’t know this but there are dry herb vaporizers one can use to gently heat up the flower without any combustion involved. This method is much safer and healthier.

@@snehalkrishnan618 Problem with weed is that, just like everything the Government mafia gets their hands on, they f*ck it up with chemicals and toxins. No need for big pharma to take an all natural plant & make it 'useful" I suppose big pharma paid for the research for this video. They kept pushing synthetic pain pills while fighting against legalization of marijuana.

The Fact that there are drug dealer doctors running pill mills make me question anything that comes out of a doctors mouth, i mean they get early tips on pharmaceuticals and invest their life savings in stocks of drug companies, so this will screw with the kind of advice they will give you, i want to see who funded every penny of the study, and who these researchers have work for in the past. I myself have never gotten advice from a doctor about the things i need to do on my daily to stop or reverse a condition , all advice i get is about how to take pharmaceuticals that's it! i see them for ten minutes for consultation, and they get paid hundreds of dollars for a consultation from my insurance, God save you if you have public insurance like Medicaide or Medicare, they'll tell you "you need to come in 10 times a month" if they could you'll be taking more pills then food! (Thank god for the internet i truly believe it has saved my life by doing my own research on health sites and learning to detect the propaganda and the fakes). America runs on envy, and a large portion of doctors work hand in hand with drug companies, they sell them dreams of wealth, if they invest their retirement money on the latest drug of the day. Doctors too want to drive the luxury cars and live in a big house a fuck a hot wife/husband when they get home, That's the American dream right. these doctors are in it for themselves with little empathy for their patients, theirs no money to be made in natural medicine if you're a practitioner (Unless you're in the business). A new Dawn is near though AI and regenerative medicine, gene therapy, and other technologies is coming for these doctors jobs. we need Apps that shine a light on lousy doctors, we need cameras in the operating rooms because we still have racist and psycho doctors that hide behind the facade of a white lab coat (it's the Taboo subject America refuses to talk about). They're not going down easy though because drug companies have their back, and if we're talking about a profession with psychopaths that don't care if a drug they create overdoses and kills millions of Americans and Canadians The pharmaceutical is full of them, because to them the only thing that matters there is Profit!
