More damage and waveclear, E gives better stats
R upgrade gives 100 base healing and dmg. E upgrade reduces base cd with 2 sec, gives 30-60 dmg (depending on charge time) and 5% more slow. It's more dps, more consistent power, and more utility than r upgrade, so it's pretty much just better.
I was actually curious myself after seeing him upgrade like that, and checked vlad on the wiki to see the ability upgrades.
Hey Elite I have a very important question would you explain when to take ignite and when to take ghost? I never know which machup what to take and if it depends on where you play mid or top.
Pretty sure that ghost is better, at least in low elo, because it gives you what vladimir lacks the most, mobility.

After nerfs he permanently switched to flash, but ghost didn’t seem that bad to me. The important part of Team fights never lasted more then 10 seconds anyway

I think he was banning Tryndamere, iirc. I personally ban Yorick. I've been a top lane vlad main since season 5. Season 11 made me switch to mid until this season. The issue with Yorick is that after a certain point, he'll always kill you if you get walled without flash. Tryndamere is a decent ban, too, though.
