I was in tears watching this video. My dad retired from SunShipbuilding and Dry Dock Company in Chester, PA. He was a welder. We use to be able to visit and see the Navy ships in dry dock before they were released. He passed away some years ago, but I still remember the thrill of seeing where he worked. Thank Hubby for the voiceover.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video Tish! My brother was in the Navy stationed in Norfolk, VA. We were blessed to go on a family cruise on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower back in 1985. It’s amazing how ginormous the ships are when you’re right there. So glad you all enjoyed your day! Thanks for allowing all of us to enjoy it with you! Hubby did amazing!!

That was Amazing! I grew up in Hawaii. My grandfather and one of his brothers worked at Pearl Harbor. My grandfather worked at the dry docks. Both of them worked there during World War II.
This was great your husband done a wonderful job. My husband retired after 20 years of service in the Navy, but he was on the submarine.
Thus was very interesting and glad hubby had a special birthday! Also, what a great voice he has, he narrates very well!
