I’m watching this on Monday morning. Today I have to do a big grocery haul, then come home and make some food items that I’ll be taking to my daughter’s house because she just had her 3rd child, a little baby boy. His 2 sisters have been loving taking care of him. They are 8 and 12, so they are a big help to their Mama. Our other grandchild is a 10 year old boy, and we thought there weren’t going to be any more after these 3. But God had other plans, much to the surprise of the parents!!

I broke out in an old-fashioned cold today! I called my daughter and she said it’s going around. I haven’t had such a cold and many years. The one advantage I can think of is that I can spend the day in bed if I want.😃

Fell last Sunday and broke my elbow off the ulnar bone and had to have surgery on Thursday to reattach with some sorta wire contraption. Well let me tell you when the nerve block wore off the pain was excruciating even with morphine doctor had to call in a secondary med and told me to double pain med. well it’s Sunday and pin is under control thank goodness. You’re sounding cheerful, nice listening to your voice. Hope you both feel better soon 😊❤

Flu A &B are rampant here in Southern Illinois. Husband and I have both been sick all week. Headache, sinus pressure,cough and congestion in mostly upper lungs. And FATIGUE! I'm glad we got flu vaccines but they are only as good as what antibodies manufacturers chose based on last years virus. Sorry you all are sick. Don't let the symptoms get too advanced before letting your docs know you're sick given your health challenges.(RN here) Praying for a quick recovery for all of you! Enjoying your Amigarumi videos😊
My husband and I have kept up on our vaccinations, but for the first time, we had Cov*d. My husband got sick at the end of December, and I was sick five days later. It amazes me that we finally caught it as we've been exposed several times. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Sorry you're sick again, Kayla. Prayers for you and hubby and Angela. I have to be so careful with crocheting supplies when I'm at my daughter's house. Their cat is fascinated by yarn and anything else she can find, like stitch markers. Sometimes, she's up on my lap when I'm trying to crochet, just watching the yarn and giving it a swipe every so often!

My cats learned at an early age that yarn was off limits and I never had a problem with any of them. Only one remains, she's 16 and my sick buddy as well.
My 22 yr old grandson moved in a couple of years ago and has 2 cats. The youngest one is a thief extraordinaire and absolutely can not leave yarn alone. She and I are going to have a knock down drag out come to Jesus one of these days!

Sleeping is good when you don't feel well. I have a mild headache, and so does my daughter. She says it is the barometric pressure.
I have a cat that likes to steal things, my crochet hook, an ink pen, a clothes pin, an earrings, our great-granddaughter s slippers, anything she can carry or bats around. 😂
I think Sissy was going into the other room to make her own project, lol. I pray you both feel better soon.
Hello Kayla! It's nice to see Sissy! My cat Berlioz takes things too. Socks reading glasses and small toys from the kids and it drives me crazy sometimes!!
And this is why the landlords cats are banned from my room, I miss place enough by just being vision impaired. That story made me chuckle. You just get well, sleep is the best help to heal I find.

Sorry you both are feeling ill, hope it is short lived and you are better very soon. I know how you feel, those arms and legs are so small and tedious, making it once is tough enough. I lost one I was working on before Christmas and I was crazy searching for it, I hadn't moved from my seat and I don't have a mischievous animal, I looked everywhere and turned my recliner upside down . Nowhere to be seen, so I made another and as soon as I finished I opened my drawer on the side table and there it was in the corner of the drawer, ugh! I loss things all the time just sitting in my recliner, crazy. Hope you find your little arm without having to remake it. Praying you oth feel better very soon. God bless, be safe and get well.

Im making a scrap yarn snake. Nothing huge, but I've always wanted to make one. I think my rounds are lumpy, but so be it. I'm playing just like you❤
You'll find the missing arms as soon as you finish crocheting the new ones 🤣🤣🤣. I set a goal for myself to get out of my comfort zone and try new techniques. Well, this weekend I learned how to do Fair Isle on the knitting machine. I followed Koala Knits and Knacks. It is not difficult per se, but it is finicky - there are several things you need to pay attention to and it makes me a little anxious but mine turned out great. Hope you and Big Daddy get to feeling better soon.😸😸😸😸

It was very hot in Australia today. January 26 is our national day so was a holiday weekend. The temperature was 40° here which is roughly 104° F where you are.

I thought ya'll had gotten hit with a pile of snow along with other southern states. we were hit here in western NY with lake effect snow and keeping my car buried in it. It will stay like that until one of my kids feel like uncovering it and hopefully move to a clear spot in the lot so they can plow where my car is sitting. I really don't venture outside in snow I have fallen every year when it snows. I have even fallen in the house in December, luckily my son was here to pick me up. I don't have the balance I once had, mainly because of my foot ulcers being wrapped makes me extra wabbly. ok well take care God bless.
