Can I add? Bring a fan and a face mist. Bring some type of hanky. They are not very heavy but they do make you feel cool in the scorching heat. Don't forget your SPF! 😉☀️
I hate summer heat. I think the most important things to stay comfortable in clothes in the heat are to wear: breathable natural fibers (manmade rayon/viscose/lyocell are great, too), light colors until sundown or unless indoors, and relaxed tailoring so that air can circulate next to the body.
Great video! None of these are new tips to me but you present them well! I will say that I hate wearing jewelry and non-functional accessories when it's not hot, and I'm really sensitive to the heat so jewelry + heat = my nightmare. I stick to hats, sunglasses, and bags, which you also mentioned! I guess an example of how these tips can be taken and applied to ur own personal style.
Posture- I would never have considered that as a tip to staying chic in the heat. (Not that we get it that hot in England!!!) That is an inspirational thought👏 I really need to work on that any time of year. Thanks for the reminder. Loving your channel thank you 😍

Love this video! Living in Tropical Australia with a summer average temperature of 100+ deg F (and no cooling down during the night), I find it hard to look chic in the heat. Thanks for sharing your tips. I feel you actually understand the heat. We have winter here atm but the heat is coming back soon, so now I'm ready for it!
I've recently tried starting to embrace summer even though it's my least favorite season since it makes being active so hard. I definitely won't miss summer when it's winter, in fact I revel in the fact that it's not summer all the rest of the year lol.

I always keep a cotton cardigan or sweater in my capsule so that I can take it with me whenever I’m going to be inside somewhere. The AC can sometimes be pretty brutal. There are some beautiful pleated trouser pants and blazers in linen that would work well for the season, but also keep you comfortable indoors!
I’m serious when I say you are a blessing. I just ordered an undergarment for sweat because of this video. I’ve had some body changes and was wondering what to do when the hot weather comes. I live in Northern Illinois. It is not usually as hot as a desert, but with climate change, it will be in the mid 90’s next week. Normally, that wouldn’t come until August. Anyway, thank you!❤️

Hey Lauren! I’m from Brazil, it was really nice knowing that your parents are from here as well! I used to wear havaianas a lot, but got tired of having to replace them every other year after the strap broke, so now I use Birkenstocks for everyday use and havaianas for going to the beach or pool. Would you be comfortable talking a little bit about your heritage in another video? My guess would be that your parents were born in the south of Brazil, but I would love to know more. In case helpful to anyone, I would strongly recommend NOT buying an undershirt from the company Numi. I returned two tops to them last summer and it took them over 2 months after they received my package to refund me! I had to turn to filing a report with the consumer protection bureau and follow up with the company something like 4 times. Terrible.
i noticed you using a steamer on your linen. how does that compare to an iron? Ironing is my least favourite job so have been thinking of the steamer route
I use the steamer purely for convenience when it comes to linen. For the most part, if I want linen to be really well-pressed, I use the iron, and a spray bottle. But, I also don’t ever feel like I need to press linen that much, because, as someone once said to me, it wrinkles gracefully 😌. For other fabrics, I find that the steamer is great!

Yes! I use sunscreen moisturizer and sunscreen makeup! I love it!
