I really think the Panthers organization needs to draft CJ there is no need in taking chances with Bryce you can't trade away your future picks and move up for an unknown of how his size will hold up in the NFL when CJ has the size and arm accuracy and has a level head just as Bryce ..Come on guys if you really think about it the only thing that separates CJ from Bryce is the running with the football highlights lol CJ already said he didn't need to run because he always found the open receiver he's very capable of running the ball only if needed think about that CJ would imo benefit the Panthers the most now and in the future lmk what y'all think ....so my question is should the Panthers roll the dice on young and take that gamble and next year be back to square one looking for that starting franchise QB but this time with out their picks
I don’t know how much times I have to say this to everyone but cj stroud and Bryce young have different play styles, cj sits back in the pocket then throws.. Bryce young on the other hand has elite pocket presence, he can escape the pocket from anywhere. The reason the panthers picked him was for that reason.. cuz that type of play style fits better for the panthers offense
Bryce Young is light-years better. He does NFL caliber things like setting protection, checking out of plays gets through multiple progressions and unlike Murray and Wilson CAN attack the middle of the field.
I agree with the first half. And i think he can attack the middle of the field but its not a certainty especially the intermediate and deep levels like stroud can. Again i like bryce but stroud is so much better as a power thrower

I don’t mean to hate rather than just give my opinion: I’m so tired of everyone’s “Bryce Young is this” and “Bryce Young is that.” Guess what? The panthers actually announced they’re taking Young number one. He’s the best prospect in this draft and the future of that franchise. Just because he might be able to pass for a 16 year old doesn’t mean anything about his greatness. Sure, it’s rare for a Brees to exist, but they do, and he can be that guy.

everybody is suddenly NFL scouts when debating who the top pick is. I know this was months ago and Bryce already went first but you don’t think the scouting teams considered all of your arguments before drafting him? also you act like he can’t work on his skill to become even better. Young was the best pick, hands down. He may not be the tallest, or have the strongest arm, and he’s not the fastest, but he is an elite quarterback who can read any defense, is calm under pressure, and the way he sees absolutely every option open to him is what makes him great. He has one of the best football IQ’s I’ve ever seen and that’s not something you can teach. He also has the habit of being a leader that all of his teammates trust to make the right decisions.
All of his physical deficits can be improved and he has the work ethic to improve massively, and the only thing he can’t get better at is his height. That’s the one thing that people thought he’d go number 2 for.
They should’ve considered it more because the OPs take aged like fine wine
