So I heard this song when we landed with Emirates in SFO and Dubai. This song took me to middle America right away. And I thought I had heard it before and I kept kicking myself trying to identify Who TF is this band? ( it wasn't Lady Attene... So....who the fuck is it!). I had to shazam it ... and Now here is the kicker. this band is ENGLISH ( Not american - WHAT?!) and the song I hadn't heard before and now they got it stuck in my head! I want to kill them ... gotta love the simplicity of what they did!!!!
Just got back from watching them Live in Ipswich ❤. Amazing performance as always but this song (one of their very best) was disappointingly not on the set list. 😭Neither was "Only Midnight" 😢
My friend recommended this. You are underrated. And you've shown your unfortunate lack of views and subscribers using thae stage with no audience. You deserve a lot more
Good song! Saw the last gig on their recent tour (The Anvil Basingstoke) great show despite the awful sound mix. Why oh why does the FOH sound 'engineer' think it's a good idea to make the Bass and Bass Drum together sound like Shrek's bollocks banging on the castle wall!!!! Guitars were too loud and the vocals never really made it out of the overall 'mush' except for the piano only duets. Such a shame as The Shires are vocally great and their songs deserve better than the (rock band) presentation. I reckon the guy on the mix desk is a guitar player who's partially deaf and his last job was sound man for some Rock or Metal Band. Don't get me wrong, I love The Shires but the live concert sound is one area where an improvement is desperately needed.

Had the same problem in Bournemouth. I thought it was just the venue. Get a new sound engineer to do you justice Shires, because you are great!
