Prince William and Kate Bump into Old University Chum in Pittenweem

- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met an old school and university friend as they visited the fishing village of Pittenweem.
As the royal couple ate chilled langoustines, crab and lobster, William recognised Jack Elles of the Harbour Café in Elie, who laid on the food.
William and Kate also met local families and a group of nursery school children who presented them with a special card.

I dislikes certain things also, but unless those things are hurting will her themselves or others I try and remain silent. You are very rare to be so negative on two people who reach out as all the Royals do to everyone. It is not a easy job, finding a common ground with someone you don't know, especially if you they don't participate and like you are judgemental.
Absolutely love this couple. Very celebrated Royals, yet they always remain humble. A rare trait of anyone these days, regardless of status or wealth. You simply can't fake their behavior and the sincerity with which they act in every situation. And very touching how they never lose their obvious love and the way they interact with each other.
They seem to bring out the best in each other, and that translates into them giving their best to those around them.

That little boy was so excited he was jumping up and down to share that drawing just and then when he tapped Catherine on the shoulder- too cute. Having three children, I'm sure the Duke and Duchess are used to little kid's enthusiasm. Very sweet.
The Duke and Duchess have a special gift; their rapport with everyone they meet is amazing.
So sweet, that little boy handing the flowers and then in a show of respect putting his hands behind his back. Good on his parents for raising him so well. I love this royal couple and their graciousness as well.

It was fun to see expression on Williams face when he recognized person from school. He and Catherine look like they're really enjoying this visit to Scotland. And she looks stunning in t-shirt, Jean's, sneakers, or dressed for a formal dinner. Catherine just has that inner beauty that glows outward! William is a very lucky man....

She already is a princess! Do you remember seeing any of the birth certificates for Charlotte, George, or Louis? Under the category, "Occupation," they have typed in "Princess of the United Kingdom." That is her job, you see, to be a princess, and so she is. She does it perfectly.

Such a breath of freesh air ! I have walked to Pittenweim from St Monans for years and years. And I recognise all the places where they met people...quite à lot of nostalgia now that with the epidemy it seems so difficult to think of going back to the East Neuk of Fife. I miss Scotland so much....

I was touched too, Catherine has a pure warm maternal air about her and the children all pick up on it and feel very comfortable talking to her, It’s lovely to witness.

They have dedicated their whole lives to the British people. They will be 'servants of the nation' until they take their last breath. That is their life's duty and they have

Harry and MM just wanted the glitz, the uniforms and carriage rides but not the daily grind, the full calendar, the 'royal' duty and service to the nation.
