Me, I was listening to obituary, Pantera vulgar display, morbid angel covenant, slayer devine intervention, Metallica black and ajfo, Megadeth countdown, Danzig blackacid, NIN downward spiral, and more.
It's incredible that John Tardy sounds almost the same in this demo as he does on their latest album. Guy's voice almost didn't age at all. Obviously, here is more early speed/thrash metal oriented but it's so distinctive that when you hear it, you know it's him.

Its 1985 and you were surrounded by bands who wanted to play as fast as possible. And here you are wanted to thrash but incapable of playing speed thus arranged 2 songs with mid tempo and heavy as fukk simple power chord while unaware that it will be the foundation for death metal later on.
