I always feel that the focus should be on us worshiping and walking with our Lord and Savior. Many people dress nice and conservative because is the house of God...however is not a problem. We want you to accept the Lord anyway way possible. God knows you either if you are covered in 30 coats or in the more trashy clothes. Come as you are. We aren't told how to be by the pastor, the holy spirit works through you once you accept him.

He's speaking to both believers and non using the pov of a non-believer to point out that the way the church sometimes justifies the anti-church stance that we try to change. I think this is the minor point though because that is only the first part. The second has more emphasis and points out what the we (the church) don't do (e.g. help anyone anyway possible and teach hope in Jesus to everyone) and addresses the consequences and fears of "real change" that both parties have in common.

My previous message wasn't for those believers who are doing the Lord's work but those modern day Pharisees calling themselves theologians because they read one book and doctrine took one class. Wake up Christian people.
