Remember to show Godly love and compassion. "Everyone goes through that", "Everyone has pain" and so forth doesn't help any. Many falter because the lack of understanding or encouragment or love from other believers. When someone sits in the street or else of other real believers (test the spirits 1 Cor 12:3 and 1 John 4), then don't let them rot there. Love your next one as yourself. What would you wish for in that situation? How would you want them to show you love? What would you need besides food? Isaiah 58.
