Ciao Ron, big Hug
Mulgrew Miller's 'If I Should Lose You' fantastic arrangment
I see him with Russell Malone and Ron Carter few years ago in La Filature in Mulhouse, France. Great musicians. Amazing!
Thanks for coming to our show :)
He was a great player. He is sorely missed.
MULGREW PERFORMED MANY TIMES AT JAZZ AT THE BISTRO HERE IN ST.LOUIS, MO. NEVER MISSED ANY OF HIS SHOWS. LOVED HIS PLAYING. RIP YOU MOST TALENTED MAN.
Beautiful, swinging, fantastic touch, ideas, personality, individuality, universality, joyous - everything. A true giant of the music.
Super!
He is in my top 5 of my favorite piano players. What a great talent!
Like the Duo recordings with Kenny!
Giant of the muzic !
Man, I miss Mr. Mulgrew...
+Veronica Johnson SO DO I.
"totally agree with you!" - he was a truly underrated talent - his work on his own album/CD, HAND IN HAND, and Donald Byrd's LANDMARKS, is "Classic" - RIP Mulgrew - "KEEP ENJOYING THE SOUNDS OF JAZZ" (especially Mulgrew Miller)
Beautiful tune. if I should lose you
half an hour of phenomenal uninterrrupted jazz... thanks for posting this. Found it from searching on Di Battista, although he doesn't actually play here.
he plays much in part 2 :)
Who applied that level of compression to drums, the incredible hulk? Nice playing though
Was the whole concert in the same key?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes.
when it matters
Great playing.. Mulgrew Miller is certainly one of the best..
but on same parts I feel like listening to Kenny Kirkland.. anyone?
If you want to pretend to write something that in your own world could make sense you should write "some" instead of "same". And to avoid confusion you should play one video at a time, close the other window where Kenny Kirkland is playing so that you can listen more accurately to Mulgrew Miller.
No reason for you to be an ass Pongo. Take your unnecessary comments somewhere else
Roberto Aragosta, that comment was outrageous considering the gigantic stature of mr. Miller, stature that you can match being the greatest dickhead of this galaxy.
At this very moment I have been listening to Mulgrew Miller and Kenny Kirkland a lot. It’s ironic that you would mention Kenny Kirkland. Both monsters in their own right!
Kenny Kirkland is great!
