Whenever there's a death metal reaction or the rare hip-hop reaction, I run straight to the comment section to see how many haters are complaining
Right?! 😅
Do the same. And it never fails 😁
death metal is so lame 🤬😡🤮🤧🤢
The bridge is one of my favorite moments in all music history since it was released. A cult masterpiece.
Morbid Angel are something else entirely than most Death Metal / Thrash / Black Metal bands out there... They are very different and unique, and their style is - dare I say it - otherwordly.
They are beautiful!
I really love that you're doing something as extreme as this which shows that you're a music lover who defines his own boundaries and is open to everything (just like me, btw)
I'm open to everything (bar opera), but there's so much appalling metal.
I love opera and black metal
one of the main classics of death metal. masterpiece album IMO but not surprised to see some of the viewers not enjoying it lol
Anything from their 3 first albums is great
Love this band 🔥🤘🔥
Man, you should listen to Chapel of Ghouls next from the same album, it's amazing
Wow!. Morbid Angel!
I liked this one. Thanks, JP. I'll check out more from this album.
They have a near flawless discography for a reason
Uhhh idk about that but their first 4 are 👌
@@bigbunko heretic and diabolus were obviously bad but to have so little bad albums is a ginormous win for any band that’s been around for nearly 40 years imo
YES. Altars of madness is one of the best metal albums of all time. You have to do chapel of ghouls next.
HR giger is the name you're thinking of
Ty ty, couldnt remember lol
L'un des meilleurs albums ❤
real music
You need to try Atheist's ...And So the Psychic Saw. 💯🔥
Pete "COMANDO" Sandoval..
What a great album, what a great track, I really miss them
Suggestion:
Tsjuder / Ghoul
Haha..I think my neighbours enjoyed that! Thanks JP dude ☠️
Haha I hope they did! 🤘
H.R. Giger
Dawn of the Angry is my fave tune from these guys. Love to hear you cover more Death. RIP Chuck. You have to do a full album listen of Mercyful Fate’s “Don’t break the Oath” album. It’s a classic.
DAWN OF THE MADDDDD!!! Saw em in aug. 95 on that tour & they opened with that.
It seems we're on the same track, JP. Somehow, don't know why, never went to look (😊) up for MB.
Our stars align 💫
This put me in the mood for *The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny* which some high school kids did a demo of many years ago. Then they became *Mr Bungle* , which sometimes goes in a different direction. Years later they rerecorded it, though. Here's *Bungle Grind* for instance.

They took it on tour not that long ago. I don't know if they came close enough to your place for you to miss the show. I'm pretty sure it would've been heavy enough for you.
I really wish you would stop playing this easy listening stuff. (tongue planted firmly in cheek)! Peace, anarchy, & Love.
:D
What about something by the groundhogs? Ship on the ocean, or maybe cherry red for instance. Thanks 👍
Yes...and "Sins Of The Father" ... great Groundhogs track
Keyboardist Jim Beard died today. He played with Steely Dan, Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter and just about everyone. He was a key player in Metheny's Secret Story album. He was a great arranger and just very nice, warm and kind person. He was only 63. You may not recognize the name but he’s been on many of your reactions.
Back in the day , when the band was a name to be reckoned with . Sadly not anymore .
BULLSHIT!!! Their last album was a return to form & i saw em last year & they FVKKEN DESTROYED.
All hail death metal!
That'll never happen.
🤘🤘
@@Owlstretchingtime78why you crying all over this comment section😂
@@siverttungen7124 Ain't dropped a tear mate! 😄
Early '90s death metals where it's at. These guys. Death. Obituary. Cannibal Corpse are a little too much to handle sometimes.
I've never tried anything from CC, though seeing plenty of their album covers lol.
@@JustJP"The Bleeding" album from Cannibal Corpse is mandatory.
Just as i expected, a monotone, tuneless racket... Guess I'm just too old for this sh*t :)
No you're ok, it's just crap.
@@pentagrammaton6793 Not just me then, nice. Good to know :)
Legends.
Didn't like them in 1990, thought I'd retry and still don't like them.
I really despise this kind of music, which isn't helped by their ridiculous monikers!
Yep, dreadful and crappy! At least a lousy, messy band like Venom didn't take themselves so seriously and it was way more fun to listen to!😉
@@a.k.1740 I'd forgot about them. I remember the lead singer was a big Kate Bush, which was anathema back then. Didn't bother him one jot!
@@Owlstretchingtime78 As far as I can remember, the guys in Venom didn't give a shit about fitting into metal clichés, so that makes sense!
@a.k.1740 I would say that the most ridiculous band in all of heavy metal has to be Manowar. Those loin cloth wearing muppets whose every song was about the noble task of saving the good name of metal, and who signed their contract to Megaforce Records in their own blood. They had a following who took them very seriously indeed. Complete bloody numpty's! 😁
@@Owlstretchingtime78 I'm not into metal and I didn't listen to much of the genre after 82/83 (apart from a few rare exceptions) so Manowar looks vaguely familiar, but I've never paid much attention to them. I've just listened to some of their stuff and I think it sucks (especially the vocals!). I get the impression that metal fans in general take everything at face value (a bit like the bands they listen to, who take themselves very seriously!).... although that's not exclusive to metal! 😉 I also took the opportunity to listen to a few tracks from Celtic Frost's To Mega Therion album that you mentioned. It's definitely more original, if only because of the orchestral passages, and the singer's voice is raw, just like Ron Broder's from Coroner, so I prefer that to growl vocals, which I can't stand (and which don't sound natural to me).
One word: Yuck! 🤮
Please Justin, if you're going to react to a metal band then look no further than Swiss thrash metal outfit Coroner. Released the same year as that filthy track you just heard, Coroner's No More Color album is far more interesting than this garbage. Start with the opening track: "Die by My Hand".🗡🔪
That, or Celtic Frost's excellent 'To Mega Therion'. Worth listening to just for Tom G Warrior's immortal death grunts. By the way, i'm imagining you don't agree! 😊
@@Owlstretchingtime78 I've heard of the name, but I've never listened to Celtic Frost.
@a.k.1740 I couldn't guess your response, but the album is obviously on RUclips. They also covered Wall of Voodoo's 'Mexican Radio' on their follow up!
@@Owlstretchingtime78 Oh! I seem to know this cover of Wall of Voodoo! (I don't think there is another metal band that has covered "Mexican Radio", so...). I will listen to the album out of curiosity.
Coroner is good but Morbid Angel wipes the floor with them
Ummm...no thanks.
