I totally agree with many others’ comments and other viewers in general about cost of products recommended on this channel The trend is so away from expensive products and many excellent influencers and even muas recommend dupes or just other products that are less costly and equally good..
Carol, you must realize that when a company is sponsoring a video, their products do need to be mentioned. She did mention in the beginning, that they were sponsoring this video.
Denise- I certainly do realize that and that is one reason so many viewers do not care for overly sponsored videos. There is a better way to do it. See Emily Noel for instance or Margaret Manning along with many others who do it openly. I am not against sponsers in general although some are I know. I just think there are ways of doing it in a better way! I think viewers also feel strongly these days about expensive products. There is a whole new trend away from that although I personally enjoy comparisons.

Supergoop Play is my favorite SPF. It’s great under makeup and seems to act as a primer I’d I’m not too shiny. Double Wear is my jam for foundation that I customize re: coverage depending on what I use to apply.

Jane Iredale has a beautiful SPF Glow Time mineral BB Cream. I wear it every day and if I want more coverage I use a little of my Laura Geller baked foundation over the top. The ingredients are clean and it feels like a treatment as my skin looks good when I remove it. Check it out
Oh I am very curious about that Alastin line now! I’m 45 and am on an anti-aging skincare journey! Also having surgery I went into early menopause and finding a deodorant that works is also a intense hunt I am on. So thank you for both of these recommendations!! I will definitely be trying them!
I love the Alastin Hydratint so much! Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and does not irritate my sensitive skin! I do wish they offered it in more tint shades, though.

Most of these are WAY too pricey. I watch the derm channels on here for skin care recs. Doctorly, Dr. Dray and the Budget Dermatologist are all excellent. All of them say that there is no such thing as “anti-aging”. It’s just marketing hype.

I listen to my own dermatologist & I watch the You Tube dermatologist channels. My mother used Oil of Olay for as long as I can remember plus she stayed out of the sun. Her skin was gorgeous. She never had Botox but she did have a mini neck/face lift when she was 70 to get rid of saggy skin. Other than that she had ZERO wrinkles. The only “anti-aging” thing that works is to stay out of the sun, and wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Love the laniege lip mask. I only started using it recently and I wish I had started sooner. I no longer wake up with dry crusty feeling lips. My lips feel hydrated and juicy after using this mask overnight.
I do enjoy a good tinted SPF (no white cast if it's a mineral one 👍). My one and only concern with them is that some people see it as a foundation or a tint and this will, *sometimes* cause them not to use enough. I remember seeing a Wayne Goss vid about this. Bless him, he did apply a foundation onto his face, ensuring he was using the recommended amount - the result was he looked quite caked in product. 😂😂 Whether it's something like It Cosmetics CC Cream 45 SPF or the one in this vid, if you're going to be relying on it for your SPF, please remember to apply the recommended amount, ie : 2 fingers. Sorry about the "rant" Lisa, it's only because sunscreen really matters 🙏🙏🌸💗🌸
Chrissy, I agree! As a Licensed Esthetician, it’s one of my biggest pet peeves. I just tell people to never rely on just their makeup, or tinted sunscreen to give them enough coverage. I also recommend the Wayne Goss video!

When it comes to skin care, and I’m talking years and years of knowledge. Learn ingredients what they do and where they appear on the label. Sometimes expensive is worth it.
Dave yourself the money! Put any skin care you want cold in your reg fridge. I've heard there's really no point to a separate fridge, it's just cools it, nothing more

Have you tried Humble deodorant? I like it even better than Native. There’s something magic in it. It totally stops odor and somehow it stops sweat.

I don’t trust Elastin. I bought their eye cream several years ago. I think they buy all their endorsements.
What makes you like the the Alastin sunscreen better than the EltaMD facial sunscreen?
They Both are great but the Alastin is lighter weight and blends into skin even easier!
I’ve used both, and I feel like the Alastin is more hydrating. It’s really just all about personal preference, and what works best for your skin.
