I’m into using mine every week in muddy salt water 4 years now. Never did much except replace fins. I did eventually lose the rear bearing and replaced it with a ceramic aftermarket. Working better than the plastic rollers for sure.
Make a video about your custom leash for the mirage drive. For now I use a piece of rope but like your D ring system. Trying to grow my Yakventures RUclips channel as well. Love my Hobie Outback
Looks good. I would add to inspect for any damaged or bent parts.... Better to fix before finding the failure on the water (especially for offshore trips).
Great video. I am getting my compass this weekend and have a question. What is the minimum distance between cross bars should be on a roof of a car for transporting hobie compass? Mine is set to 90 cm and I am thinking if its too narrow. Thanks in advance

How do you adjust the chain setting if it needs it

I’m gonna go out and tighten my kick up fins 😁
Thank you for this! Do you all apply the Hobie lubricants?
Yep we do!
how do you store your drive in your garage when not in use?
What about the lube? About how often should I use it? Beast way to apply it?
