This video is about PO GUIDE PART 1 CLASS-1 that will cover GDS TO POSTMAN STUDY MATERIAL NOTES in Paper-II as per the New syllabus.
PO GUIDE PART 1 is an important topic in the GDS to Postman syllabus as it is given in Paper 1 and paper 2 as well.
Post office Guide part 1 is given as MCQs in Paper 1 of GDS to Postman Exam and GDS to MTS Exam for 23X2 =46 marks including Products and services. However, PO Guide part 1 is given in MCQ for 5x2=10 marks in paper 2 of the new revised syllabus for GDS to Postman which covers only the delivery part of the postman.
What is PO Guide Part 1?
Ans: PO Guide Part 1 deals with Rules and regulations relating to Inland posts. Further, Post office Guide Part 1 contains information on all items of business transacted in a Post office.
The syllabus under delivery in PO guide Part 1 includes:
Delivery of mails
Refusal of article
Payment of eMoney Order
Redirection
Instruction regarding address change
Articles addressed to the deceased person
Liability to detention to certain mails
Facilities provided by Postmen in rural areas

When it is currency note upto 20000
Gold meterial upto 100000 rupees insurance permitted how can it be prohibited exceeding 20000 / - sir.
As per India post website:
Gold coins or bullion or both of a value exceeding Rs. 20,000/-.

It is told Inland Insurance is maximum is ₹1 Lakh. But not ₹1 Lakh for gold. so, for gold its only ₹20,000.

Hi sir,pls explain this qsn an Unregistered parcel of 900 gms with 35rs stamps affixed on it is posted in the letter box,then how it is treated??Calculating the taxation
As per Clause 156, Any parcel found in a letter box will be treated as a registered parcel 📦.
So, for 900 grams, parcel postage to be affixed is:₹35
It should be registered so, ₹17 to be added.
Double the deficiency will be collected wrt clause 171(2).

Special bags are meant for the higher dignitaries/ higher officers whereas camp bag is for only higher officers.

Hi sir, sir where we get all the previous year question papers regarding mts/postman/pa, Asking for more clarity on the pattern,practice and to habituate for the exam sir, hope you will give good suggestions 😊sir
My sincere suggestion is do not see more than 2-3 papers. Why because there may be wrong questions given there also and you get confused. Sometimes answer at that time maybe correct but now it changes for ex: rates changes cod etc; interest rates; rules changes etc.
