I am a Holistic Occupational therapist and founder of Khushi therapy center based in Mumbai- India.

Maam my son is 6 yrs old , he is in 1st STD. He is also not sitting on a chair in school. He is running and going another classroom . I am very worried. For this I have to sit in school with him... Can he read in normal school?

Mam mera beta 3 years ka h with mild asd..usko maine proper outdoor exposure deti hu aur hyperactivity ki activities bhi krwati hu..mere beta apni favourite activities krte hue to kaafi hours tk baith jata h per jb mai uske psnd ki activities nhi krwati wo bhaag jata h..mjhe smjh nhi aata isko hm sitting tolerance hai ye kh skte h..ya sitting tolerance nhi h mere bache m ?

Mam mere beta 7 year ka ho gya hai.. Usko mild autism hai.. Usko study karte samhe rota hai.. Per agar per ek jagah sitting nhi hai..

Thank you for the valuable Information about age wise sitting tolerance level of 5/10 years old kid. This will take a lot of parents off the kids' back .
2.5 Saal ki bache kitna time sitting position mein rahna normal hain???
There are no such expectations because development happens differently to each child.Children love to move and learn till 7 years and then gradually start settling down.

I am not a dietician but any food with preservatives ,colours, packet or sugary food is best to be avoided
Your videos are quite informative.Thanks a lot.in this video you told so many factors contributing the problem but how a parent can discover and treat accordingly.do the parent need to go a psychologist or occupational therapist?pls reply
It is a good idea to meet your pediatrician who can guide you but sometimes it does not happen. In that case, meeting a developmental pediatrician/psychologist/Occupational therapist can help.

My child is 2.9 year old. He sits and play with me,do activity with me properly. But he dont like to sit when not doing any activity. Eg when we go to restaurant ,he always wants to move arount and explore. Is this a problem
