Oh man, I got a good one for you, bro. Back in 2020, I started randomly losing a quarter of a second about every 15 minutes(felt like passing out). I also started to notice my heart not beating consistently. This was in early April. I ended up going to see my pcp in June for just a yearly checkup and not thinking much of it. I told him about it. He sent me to a cardiologist 22:51 got me in the following week. They put me through a stress test and echo and diagnosed me with leaky valve syndrome, and I had a bicuspid aortic valve. Testing took a few weeks and such due to covid happening. It had started to get pretty bad. I went back into the cardiologist and basically said I'd need to have my aortic valve replaced. All out of the blue, smacked by life. I had always played sports growing up, never had a dr tell me anything about my heart. So, the cardiologist sent me to the cardiovascular surgeon. I met with him maybe 2 times over a month before signing up for the surgery. Man, it was scary. I knew that the surgery was safe, and I had somehow lucked into getting one of the best cardiovascular surgeons. I wish I could say I wasn't scared or that I had any feeling that it was going to work out. I was very scared but tried to hide it from my wife. She was actually probably more scared than I was. April of 2021 I had my surgery. The whole surgery went great. I woke up that night to a nurse telling me how lucky I was that the previous nurse noticed the aed they put in me to ensure my heart beat normally was misfiring and malfunctioning.😂 the next morning, my wife basically told me to stop laying around and walked with me around the cardio recovery wing of the hospital. Side notes: I love my wife(she's the best thing ever and helped me more then anyone through this whole deal), they did a full open heart surgery on me(6" incision fully broke my sternum to access my chest cavity), and breathing was incredibly painful. My full recovery was expected to be 12 weeks, and thanks to her, I was back at my physical level pre worsening symptoms in 8 weeks.
I can't tell you how much I wish I could've talked to my Dr's sooner about all this. I may not have done the surgery any sooner but knowing what exactly was wrong with me could've saved a few of my hairs from graying 😅
Health stuff is scary, but not knowing is always way worse than knowing. At least know what's trying to get you❤

Yo Joey been watching for years now and wanted to thank you! I recently had my entire collection stolen during a move 4 months ago. I lost all interest in the game when I lost my binder of duel lands and my collection of guru lands. Watching you brings back the enjoyment the excitement you have for even smaller cards reminds me the excitement I had. I can no longer afford the game but would love to get back into it at some point and will be joining patron hopefully getting into a break at some point keep up bringing the joy for the game even during times it feels the common guy can no longer play.
I get the fear of going to the doctor. I can’t stand being anywhere near a hospital or a doctors office. It just makes me feel anxious. Hope you feel better Joey ❤

Hey Joey just caught your video and heard you talking about chest pain and it sounded familiar. Wasn't that weirded out till you mentioned the tarry stool. I had tarry stool for 5 days at the beginning of March...past 2 weeks I've had crazy shortness of breath and crushing chest pain with very little exertion. Got a colonoscopy with little to nothing found, went to the er for the rest last week and had a x-ray, blood work, chest ct and I have no answers. Doing a 14 day cardiac monitor currently and have an echo tomorrow. No blocked arteries and no real answers yet. Hope you feel better man but this seriously freaked me out to hear you're kinda having the same stuff going on.
Always tough dealing with our mortality, but hang in there moss boss love your videos you entertain a ton of people daily!
Joey go to your PCP. He/she will refer you out to a stress test with a cardio. Be safe my friend.

You should go see your PCP about your heart. Weird heart stuff isn't like weird other stuff. Your heart is supposed to do only one thing over and over again and it isn't doing that perfectly. Not much error judgement here. Go see the doctor. Love you
