So, happy you are doing well Roxana. I pray your child is doing well also.🤗 Glad to see you up and healthy enough to be back in the garden. Stay safe and many Blessings.
I find it so relaxing to watch your videos. You keep it real and I really appreciate that. So happy to know you are doing much better and able to continue to do what you love. To me your garden and your spirit are always beautiful. 🌷
I am so glad you are doing well. Your consistent care of the gardens, is what kept your plants thriving. All of your hard work paid off, even on the overgrown stuff. Take care!
I was operated on a while ago and havent been able to tend to my garden for a couple of months now. So I can feel your pain as I look out my window and see 5ft tall weeds! But with all of this rain and high heat & humidity, all the plants in everyones gardens are out of control. Its just that time of the year! You do a great job ... dont be so hard on yourself! But it does make you think about what you can do to "simplify" your future gardens.
Exactly, already thinking about that, I think that as much as I like watering by hand, I am going to have to come up with an irrigation system for next year.
I was sick from mid July into early August and we also in NJ had 90+ temps with no rain then. I don't have a sprinkler system or drip and always hand water ever day. But I could barely drag myself outside maybe 3 days in 3 weeks but thankfully things hung on and made it through! Now we are flooded this week with remnants of IDA so everything is lush and green! I'm pulling my tomatoes out tomorrow. This was so encouraging even though we both were sick. You are right, "LIFE HAPPENS and we must go with the flow"... thanks so much fir being the real deal! Choosing Joy~ stephanie 🦋🌸🌈
SO GLAD YOU AND YOUR SON ARE DOING BETTER, GOING THROUGH THIS PANDEMIC IS SO HARD, KEEP TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY. DOING THE BEST WE ALL CAN!!!!!!
Good to hear you and your family have recovered and are well. Due to some knee issues, i ignored my garden for 2 weeks, and my goodness it was completely out of control. I feel your pain. I am amazed at the growth of your beautiful tomatoes- wow!
So glad you are feeling better, (your son too!). Probably the worst time of year to get sick when you know your garden is exploding outside and you just have to let it be. Still looks wonderful and full of fruit. Nicer weather is coming soon!
Happy to hear you recovered ! I enjoy your garden very much you do a great job !! by the way your calming tone of voice and nonchalant videos are an escape for me from the crazy times we are living today. Greetings from Chicago !
I had NO idea when I said I’d love to see a veggie garden update !! So sorry to hear you and your teenager were sick, but thankful that your recovered and ready to garden again !! Thanks for the update but don’t overdo it ! 🐝🦋😊
No worries at all, before I got sick I was already planning for a veggie garden tour but it didn't happen, summer is SO busy with everything else going on for me, Thanks for visiting again!
I'm so happy that you are ok now, and that your health has not been complicated by the covid, you are fortunate, 😊💜 cause there are many people who are suffering today. Enjoy your life and your beautiful garden💜🌻🌹
So glad your feeling better, sorry you got sick but glad you didn’t need to be hospitalized!! Don’t over due it!! I feel all our gardens are crazy full every year at the end of summer and there is a lot to do. The heat has been awful here in Northern Indiana and we are finally getting some relief this week. The heat index was over 100😅😳
The arbor is beautiful! The conditions in gardens globally this year is unusual. I lacked rain and was inundated by insects in a 45 yr old organic garden. I’m seriously considering a greenhouse for veggies. Keep up the beautiful work . Stay safe and well!
I been working on taking things down in my gardens .. I have canned as much as I could , and things are looking a little wonky, so cutting back on the flowers & taking down the veggie garden .. it’s a beautiful thing to see the ground again , but I loved planting & enjoyed all the fruits of my labor. Soon , Fall will be here & I want to get as much done as I can now .. but I’m sure going to miss it all
I’m so sorry you’ve been sick but your garden still looks amazing. Those tomatoes are beautiful and I will definitely be planting some of those you recommended-but only one plant as I’m the only tomato water in the family.
I just did a major prune job on my veggie beds as well! Your garden is still looking beautiful though! Even before the pruning! That just goes to show though, that we dont need to agree about babying/pruning/ watering our plants as much as we think we need to, they will still produce! Glad you're doing better!
Glad you are feeling much improved! My dad used to grow hot peppers, and he would put them in pint jars of apple cider vinegar. He did not process them either. He used the vinegar and ate the peppers as the year progressed. The rest of the family did not like spicy peppers like he did. You could try several different methods and see which one(s) you like. Good luck and don’t over do it.
Happy you're ok. Your hard work paid off with such a beautiful thriving garden even when you don't tend to it. I pray continued health and wellness for you 🥰
I am so glad you and your teenager are feeling better. With all those peppers, can you make pepper jelly? My neighbor makes pepper jelly and gives small jars of it as gifts for Christmas.
So sorry you have been sick, I'm glad you are starting to feel better! I can't stand the green leaves of the tomato plant to touch me and I have to wear gloves when pruning them, they're wet and get green all over you! lol Amazing how everything grows so much in such a short amount of time, lots of fresh air and sunshine will speed you to a full recovery! I'm harvesting lots of tomatoes too I'm looking at salsa recipes! Good job on the clean up, don't try to do too much at once don't forget to rest until you are all better! Jill
When I have a lot of peppers I roast them and freeze them in small baggies. I also roast tomatoes and freeze, in winterI open a bag of tomatoes and a bag of peppers add garlic and you have an easy salsa.
That's a great idea! I don't have a lot of room in my freezer for storage but I am trying to convince the hubby to get a small freezer.. I think they are called chest freezers???? I am not sure but they would be great for storing veggies.
So glad you are better from your “virus”. I only have a small raised bed and it didn’t so well at all this year. Maybe I will make it taller. I enjoy your videos but first time to comment
Glad to hear your on the mend and so is the garden. I also had so many struggles in the garden this year, its been a weird year.I ended up in ICU in septic shock trying to deal with kidney stones. Watched your videos in waiting room to have it blasted a couple weeks later, still have the Stent in so its hard to dig haul or pull. But going to go like mad next week when they finally take that out. Regardless youand your gardens look fantastic. How do you use all your produce. I'm trying jalapeños, cowboy candy this year. Blessing for a healthy prosperous year.
Sending positive vibes your way and hoping for a speedy recovery! I actually don't grow a lot of veggies, I stick to what we love to eat, tomatoes being #1... I can a lot of them for salsas and spaguetti sauce, and we love eating them fresh as well! After that is just using what I get from the garden in meals.
I have a fairly big garden also, but no irrigation system. I figure if a plant cant make it naturally in my zone 6, Ill get rid of it and keep what does! I dont want to become a slave to my garden! I want it to remain my place of peace!!!
Absolutely! The only plants that really suffered were the ones in containers.... nothing would survive 3 weeks with no water in a small container in the upper 90s :/
So, happy you are doing well Roxana. I pray your child is doing well also.🤗 Glad to see you up and healthy enough to be back in the garden. Stay safe and many Blessings.
Thank you so much!

Thank you!
Love this garden. Just the surrounded greens, tomatoes 🍅 I would sit out every morning with me and God. Thank you for sharing ❤💖
Thank YOU for watching!
Wow!!!! 🍅That tomato ARCH! 🍅
💡🌶️Pepper preservation idea🫑💡Dehydrated peppers and ground into pepper mix- add to soup or whatever through the winter!

Sorry to have known that you were sick but so happy that you recovered nicely.
So glad you’re okay! You will whip it back into shape in no time.
😂😂 I sure hope so!
Good to hear you and your family have recovered and are well. Due to some knee issues, i ignored my garden for 2 weeks, and my goodness it was completely out of control. I feel your pain. I am amazed at the growth of your beautiful tomatoes- wow!
Oh no, I hope you are better now... and yes, the tomatoes can get out of control!
So glad you are feeling better, (your son too!). Probably the worst time of year to get sick when you know your garden is exploding outside and you just have to let it be. Still looks wonderful and full of fruit. Nicer weather is coming soon!
I was thinking the same thing... Why not getting sick in the winter when my garden doesn't need me... or when I need the garden I should say lol
Everything is so full and abundant❤
So glad you are better. But take care. Don't over do. Blessings!
Thanks so much!

Beautiful! I’m glad you recovered! And thanks for letting us see all of it, the good and overgrown. The overgrown weights on me .
Overgrown and out of control is part of every garden... some years one can do better than others, and sometimes is out of our hands.
Glad you’re both alright and feeling better 🥰 what a fantastic plant and your arch looks beautiful Roxanna 🪴🌺🪴
Thanks so much :)
So glad you and your family are feeling better!! 💜💜💜
Thank you!

Yup, I actually already made several batches of them in vinegar... I love spicy so they are a great side dish for any meal!
And your garden looks lush and full!❤️

Oh pepper jelly sounds good! I will have to find a good recipe for it.
@@SoilandMargaritas My friend found the recipie on the box of canning jars he bought.

Tomatoes are the best, I don't mind their foliage.. or any foliage for that matter.. and I have been doing a bunch of salsa as well. 😘🌿☀️

Glad your better🌹... Laura at garden answer made a how to video for canning candied jalapeños they looked delish. Love your content!
Oh I am going to have to check it out! Thank you so much!
🤣 my tomatoes always get a little wild!
Right?! I fell like there is wild and there is just savage lol

Thank you!
So glad you are better from your “virus”. I only have a small raised bed and it didn’t so well at all this year. Maybe I will make it taller. I enjoy your videos but first time to comment
Thank you Enola!
Wow! You found a whole garden...
Hidden underneath your garden.
Right?!? I found an ecosystem right under all that jungle lol

I need to get the Hawaiian Current cherry tomatoes in my life next year. Our family could eat our weight in cherry tomatoes 😂.
I really LOVE their flavor!

The hubby and my other teenager didn't get a thing :/ Who knows!?!
I’m so glad you’re feeling better! ❤️
